hey ppl, i thought since i get such great input from u guys, i would post my 300 pt team im planning to use next weekend. its hard making teams for me due to retirement, so i thought id try something different than my usual cheap sling-shot + barrier tactics.
heres my team:
U Oracle w/ card - 27
LE Clint Barton ICWO - 85
V Black Widow ICWO - 69
V Havok - 44
R Jean Grey - 31
R Live Wire - 22
E Paramedic - 10
Alred pog - 6
Jarvis pog - 4
Franklin Richards pog - 2
R Live wire flies Black Widow for free all over the board, both stealth both Ult. Black Widow can outwit stealthed ppl w/ ICWO. the pogs are basically cover for Jean Grey, Havok, and Clint Barton being as that they have no barrier or stealth ppl. the lil TK barricade will stay put, being as that Clint Barton can be sent out with a 12 range.
once ICWO changes to perplex (black widow can take the action perfectly since she has willpower), Clint Barton can get his damage to 6! and target 3 ppl. ill do it twice or so, therefore he'll get his triple incap! and Havok is just some extra muscle
lmk what u think..is Clint Barton good enough for 300 pts? he has a really low def, so im thinking once i send him out to do his 6 dam, unless every enemy is crippled, ill quickly surround him with Live Wire and Black widow.
I personally think Clint is a great figure. Yes his DV is a little low, but if you cover him properly with your own figs (and leave him in hindering terrain since his Ultimates TA lets him ignore it while moving) he's all good. Instead of ICWO, though, I think Stunning Blow might be a better choice. That way, he's still doing the triple Incap (after the push), plus he can deal some damage.
"How does [insert special power] work with the new 2013 rules?"
Most everything special power-wise, we're looking into. The PAC changes may change the way some special powers function; we're checking on them before the June release. In the meantime, ask your judge.
I'm not getting how CB has 6 damage. Even if BW took perplex from ICOW, and Barton ups his own damage with the card, that would still be five. And you said BW takes outwit.
It's not a bad team, but it doesn't match up against most tourney teams youre going to see. Black Adam and Thor can do some damage. Trick shotters with long range. Barrier. Pounce. IMO, your team isn't mobile enough to do very well in a tournament. HSS, charge, running shot, pounce are where its at, and you only have one of these.
hmm, yeah thats true. i was saying that Black Widow would start with outwit, outwit TK or HSS if it be. i think i can take down Black Adam easy (if hes not using Fortitude). second turn or 3rd turn, thats when Black Widow takes an action to change Oracle to perplex.
her perplex + ICWO modifier + Clint's perplex =6 damage
Once an agent take the power action to gain a power all other agents loose their powers previously gained from ICWO. So Clint and Widow can't have perplex from ICWO at the same time.
Life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone.

what do u mean? it works like this: Black Widow takes an action to get outwit. Both agent (BW and Clint) have outwit. Black Widow then takes an action to get Perplex, both agents then have Perplex.
both agents have to have the same power at the same time. they both have outwit, then they both lose outwit, and both gain perplex. wait...just read the card...is shockman right? if so that sucks!
