The fights take place in a wide open arena, there is NO WEAPONS allowed the fight ends when a fighter is KOed or killed....all previous encounters between characters are remembered and each character gets one hour of preptime before there match.

Gah, no weapons? Before you said that, I thought Anarky might be able to take him with a hologram and his stun rod or something (he's taken Batman, so Dragon should be easier), but unarmed, Dragon takes this,

Actually I think i'm going to change my rule so that a couple of the later matches will be more fair...

So now it stands no projectiles...but swords,rods,blades, etc are all good

Still goes to Dragon in this arena. Anarky's more a prep guy.

Because of the prep time im going with Anarky not only is he a very capable HTH fighter but the guy is a genius as well. I think Dragon would wipe the floor with him in a fair fight but like batman Anarky isnt afraid to cheat to win. Anarky's fused brain i think is the deciding factor in this.

Well until that rule change I was sure this was a massacre but now I'm torn. I go with Anarky whcih suprises me to think Dragon might go out first round but with prep time and his staff Anarky will pull through

Pretty even so far.....im surprised more people havent voted for the Dragon, I guess his fans must be too depressed after hearing that his title is getting cancelled at issue 12

The thing that I think matters here is open terrain. Anarky can't set much in the way of traps or ambushes, and with just his stun-run, he's still going to have trouble hitting Dragon. He's notiably less good in a strait fight, after all, and one weapon isn't going to be enough to make up for it against The Dragon.

Yeah by issue 4 i think the sales had dropped to the 13k mark which is extremely bad so DC is pulling the plug...even Azrael terrible writing and art for the last 50 issues sold better then that. I heard that alot of the diehard fans are not impressed with Dixons potrayal of Dragon...that he is too young and a street punk in this incarnation.

And the fights haven't been that great either. They just had him fight Conner Hawke... and it was quite frankly boring. Moves weren't too interesting, and Shiva who was watching was even bored.

I'm worried that they are going to try and kill him off at issue 12, which would be a shame since the apathy towards him is that people liked the original Dragon and cant understand why they switched him to this....
