Saw batman Begins Last Night (spoiler Free)
Thanks to my friendly Neigborhood Comic Store here in Nashville I was able to score passes to Batman Begins last night. THIS movie is AWESOME, hands down the best Bat-film ever (not that it had much competition) its is on par with the spider man movies in term of quality and story.

They stick to the Bat legend and mirror the year one batman stuff very well. I am so happy that this team has been signed to at least three films casue it rocked, there was no over the top villians each was very believable nad not campy, the fights were amazing just like I would picture the Batman fighting and Cristian Bale is BATMAN and Bruce Wayne.

This will be the biggest movie of the summer, Sith was good but Batman is better you have got the whole package here good story, good characters and good Dialoge

That is my 2 cents on the film Go see it and enjoy

It won't be released here until the 15th, but there are all sorts of special previews and promotions going on all around the country where people get to see it early.

I got to see this movie last night and WOW was it freakin awesome! I will echo everything that Stepper79 said and add that this movie will exceed your expectations. I had such high expectations for this movie and they were totally blown away. See this movie as soon as you can.

I read this film described as a "horror film for criminals." Sounds like it hits exactly the right note!

The big thing for me is how Bale is two completely different people hr channels some thing Primal as batman, but comes off the perfect aloof Playboy millionaire as wayne. THANK goodness they signed Bale for three movies

Re: Saw batman Begins Last Night (spoiler Free)
Three more Batman movies with Christian Bale? As long as they can keep the mood like Batman Begins appears to be, I'm thrilled

Here's the thing, though- with three movies, sooner or later they're going to have to bring in the Joker. I think they're pretty much establishing this as a different universe than the other Batman films, but they're going to have to do some amazing casting of the Joker to get out of the larger-than-life shadow that Nicholson cast. Unfortunately when I think "Joker" now, I think "Mark Hamill" and he just wouldn't work as the Joker in a live-action movie.

I'm trying to think of what other Batman villains would work well with more "realistic" mood that Batman Begins is taking. I'll buy Ra's al-Ghul and even Scarecrow, but would have a harder time with Poison Ivy, Killer Croc or Mr. Freeze. Catwoman would be good, but tainted by the recent movie. I see credits for Victor Zsasz, which makes sense if he survives the movie. Ditto for Carmine Falcone, which leads me to believe we'll eventually see Two-Face and maybe if we're lucky an adaptation of "The Long Halloween." I think that Bane would work, eventually. Penguin as a high-society crime lord I'll buy if he ditches the trick umbrellas.

Anyone else have any thoughts for good Batman villains for upcoming movies?
