• Each player chooses a character this character has the plague.
• Character with the plague doesn’t work against other characters with the plague.
• Characters with the plague are given the poison power; all other powers are ignored
• At the beginning of your turn roll a die on a result of 1,2,3 you take a click of damage that ignores all team abilities, feats, and powers (do this for every character individually with the plague)
• A character with plague can attempt to give an opposing character the plague by:
o Taking a power action
o Then make a successful attack on the opposing character
o If the attack is successful the opposing character gets the plague
Interesting idea; could be a lot of dice rolling as a lot of characters are infected with the Plague, but it might be interesting to provide a way of recovering from it too, to keep the battle shifting. Maybe something like "At the beginning of your turn roll a die for each plague-infected character. If you roll a 1 or 2, this character takes a click of damage that ignores all team abilities, feats, and powers. If you roll a 6, this character recovers from the effects of the plague (but can be reinfected via the normal rules)."
Ignores all powers? Does this mean I can run up with Thor and blast the Plague character and take him out of the game in 2 turns? I think all powers should stay in play but add poison to the Plague infected characters.
The die roll is good, 1-4 click and maybe 5-6 click of healing. How about if they successfully give someone the plague they get a click of healing as well. This will make the game last a little longer.
Another option, ranged attacks will kill these plague people pretty fast without their powers if you opt to use that rule. Make ranged people roll a die to successfully be able to attack them from a distance, like on a roll of 4-6 they can make a ranged attack, 1-3 they can not.
Just some thoughts....I have been throwing an idea like this in my head for a while.
• Each player chooses a character this character has the plague.

• Characters with the plague are given the poison power; all other powers, feats and team abilities are ignored
• Characters with plague treat every figure as an enemy figure
• Characters with plague have the Intimidation power
• At the beginning of your turn roll a die on a result of 1, 2, you take a click of damage that ignores all team abilities, feats, and powers. On a result of a 6 this character loses the plague (they can regain it though), and they have 2 action tokens. Note: do this for every character individually with the plague.
• A character with plague can attempt to give an opposing character the plague by:
o Taking a power action
o Then make a successful attack on the opposing character
o If the attack is successful the opposing character gets the plague
• The intimidation power is:
o Whenever an apposing character attempts to move a character adjacent to this character, that player rolls a die. On a result of 1 or 2 you can’t move adjacent to this character. Characters suffering knockback ignore this power.
o If an opposing character attempts to make a range combat attack against this figure, you roll one die on a result of 4, 5, or 6. The opposing character’s can’t make this attack, and is still given an action token.
• Characters with plague treat every figure as an enemy figure
Shouldn't that read?
• Characters with plague treat every figure without the plague as an enemy figure
I like it. Another cool thing too, is get some ID rings/Thick small rubber bands so you can mark your plague ridden characters, or place red poker chips under the ones who become infected...incase you get confused.
