hi, i was wondering if for trick shot you have to have either rce or plasticity SHOWING on your dial, or just HAVE IT somewhere on your dial. me and a buddy were playing a 'friendly' (soccer term) the other day and he put trick shot on vet mandarin and i let him. is that legal or not? either way, vet mandy w/ trick shot and 12 range is nasty! thanks.

You can give Mandy TS, but he can't use it until he has RCE showing on his dial.

Pre-requisites must be showing to use the feat card, with the exceptiong of Brilliant Tactician which says Outwit does not need to be showing.

Also, is the card says a series of powers with the word "Or" in it, you only have to meet one part of the pre-requisites. Such as Force Field, you only have to have one of the 4 powers showing to gain toughness.

Yeah, what everybody else is saying. Plasticity or Ranged Combat Expert must be showing on your dial for you to be able to use Trick Shot.

ok...it was pretty crappy when he mind controlled ra's in stealth from 12 spaces away. thats kinda my other question...would that be legal (hypothetically), or would you have to do a normal attack and just do damage (ie no mc or incapacitate)? thanks

If Mandy has MC and RCE on the same click he can do that. If he doesn't, he can't. I'm fairly certain of this anyhow.

Yep. They can work together, so long as the Mind Controller has RCE showing on his dial with MC.

V Mandarin has the Mind Control/RCE combo on just one mid-dial click (with an 8 attack), but it's a valid option for Trick shot. You could also pull the trick off, first click with V Brainiac 13 from Hypertime, who has only an 8 range but the added bonus of three clicks of Mind-Control, all at an 11 or 10 attack. Unfortunately he's not good for much else, because his damage is pretty weak and he's got the famous Injustice League TA.
