Question Does anybody have Information on the Batman Cartoons?
I noticed 3 Collections at Wal-mart of 'Batman: The Animated Series'.
Volume 1, Volume 2, and Volume 3.

I think they were 28 Episodes each.

I think Volume 3 said it was the last 28 Episodes?

Does anybody know when and where this Cartoon was on TV?
(year, channel, etc)

What would you rate the Series out of 10?

Was it only on for 3 Years?

Is it the best Batman Cartoon?

What other Batman Cartoons have there been?

I saw a few Episodes of the JLA Cartoon a couple of years ago.
I thought they were good.
But I don't watch much regular TV,
so I don't know anything about Batman Cartoons.

Thanks.
Don't you think Giants should ignore normal Figs for movement? Atom making a Giant stop in it's tracks from 2 squares away? Silly! Giants should be able to carry grounded Figs. Their clothes and gear would weigh more! Common sense for mechanics!!

Volume 4 is supposed to be out middle of December, along with volume 2 of the "Timmverse" Superman: The Animated Series. Just FYI.
Fool, Idiot, Loser, Misfit Plebeian. Consistent screw-up. Sucker. Hoping for the best, but always expecting the worst from my "fellow human beings". Waiting to fired (what with my comments on the U.S. Politics forum being so heavily monitored by certain people I work with; probably will be fired mid- to late-July).

The series changed names and artistic styles. So it continued past Set 3 to Set 4 but it was under a renamed title of Batman, Gotham Knights.

So while Set 3 is technically the last of Batman: The Animated Series there were still more episodes.

I would give Batman TAS 10 stars. It's probably the best superhero cartoon series ever made, and it's got a decent amount of episodes to boot. Gotham Knights was of the same caliber, but I didn't care for the new art style.

Also up there as excellect superhero catoon series: Spider-Man (FOX 1990s), X-Men, and Spider-Man MTV. I would also recommend Batman Beyond if you like Batman TAS.

Batman:TAS is the best super hero cartoon ever produced. The animation is fluid, and well executed. Characters don't stutter or jerk in their motions. The stories are great, the voice talent is superb.

I don't remember what year they introduced Robin and crew on a regular basis, but that's where the series went into decline. When it was just Batman, it was excellent.

Yes but what it lacked in story content and animation style, it more than made up for with the theme song!

"Reed Richeds is elastic!
Sue could fade from sight!
Johnny is the Human Torch!
The Thing just loves to fight!
Fantastic Four!
Powerful Four!
Fantastic Four!"

Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.

Batman The Animated Series is my favorite superhero cartoon series ever!

Spider-Man from the 90's is the only one that even comes close.
