Yes you can still take knockback into a wall you are already adjacent too. And yes you can fly over outside blocking terrain, but can not stop on top of it. hope this helps.

are you sure about the first part it states in the rules that if you are at the edge of the map or a wall or elevated terrain is adjacent to you you can not be knocked back.

per icons rule book

Knockback damage. A grounded character’s knockback
path may not continue beyond a wall, the edge of the
map, the boundary of elevated terrain, or the boundary of
blocking terrain. If it would do so, the character’s knockback path stops in the square before
the path would cross into any of those areas, and the character is dealt 1 point of knockback
damage.

So they will take the damage, cause they will attempt to take the knockback but stop immediately because of the wall.

but it says may not continue, im saying if your right next to it to begin with and you didnt take a knockback, would you still take damage? I need to hear it from another. Also it states knock back is speerate damage and dosent add to damage but is takes sperate meaning a figure with toughness would not take knock back damage as well right?

yes, a character with toughness/invul/impervious would not take damage from knockback. as well as characters with combat reflexes of course.

blastzard is correct, the figure doesn't have to move at all, if Kb is dealt and the figure would have to move through the wall/blocking terrain/edge of map to complete its KLB movement the movement ends before the obsacle and 1 damage is dealt to figure. You are correct that the damage is from a separate source and can be reduced (by toughness, INV, IMP, LMD feat and IIF BFC) but if AW BFC is inplay the figure would still take one damage after the reduction takes place since the damage is dealt then reduced.

where do you find the info about not being able to stop on top of blocking terrain outside?

I totally agree with you, but our judge has been saying if you have flight, phasing, or leapclimb, you can land on blocking terrain and stay there. I would like to point out where it says you can not. thanks

From the Icons PAC

LEAP / CLIMB(optional): When you give this character a move action, it automatically breaks away and ignores the effects of characters, hindering terrain, elevated terrain, and outdoor blocking terrain on movement. When you give this character a close combat action; this character may target a grounded or soaring figure regardless of the target’s elevation or flight mode.

PHASING / TELEPORT(optional): Give this character a power action. This character may move up to its speed value. It automatically breaks away and ignores the effects of characters, hindering terrain, elevated terrain, and blocking terrain on movement. This character may not end its movement in or on blocking terrain.

On leap climb the character can only ignore outdoor blocking terrain while being given a power action. When you stop your not being given a move action and then must obey this rule from the Icons Rulebook.

No character can occupy a square of blocking terrain.
Check out Al's Clix Cave. I didn't make this site and get nothing for putting this in my sig. This site is JUST THAT GOOD.
