Reverse-dial tournament -all figs under 100pts!
My son and I will be participating in this tournament next week:

"Build a 600 point team that consists of no figure over 100 points. No Feats, Battle Fields or Medics. All characters will begin their dials at the end and every click of damage given will turn your dial counter clock wise as if you were healing but instead this is damage taken till they reach their starting point. Once the character reaches the starting points the character is K.O.ed."

This could take some work to find the best figs! Any suggestions?

LE Rex Mason would start with Defend and a Defense of 17--very tough to hit 17's when your characters are starting on their last clicks.

Also, "Gamma Eradiated" Hulk starts out with the potential to deal 8 Damage (5 Natural Damage + Super Strength to pick up the Pop Machine).

V. Psylocke (AW) would start on her nasty Blades + Exploit Weakness click.

R. Thunderbird's last click is quite good, albeit with a low Attack Value.

Good luck...

This 400 pt. team won for me in a similar scenario (except the point cap was 149 points):

Manticore 87
Ambush Bug 50
E Dr. Midnite 43
V Atom Smasher (Big Al) 97
E Captain America (ult) 89
R Con Artist 11

Manticore copied Cap's TA to outwit anyone in sight. He also has Stealth, Willpower and INcap on that click -- very useful. Cap's chief purpose was to boost Al's def from 14 to 16 and to back him up with outwit. Al's really slow, so it'll take him a long time to get within striking range. But if he can make it there without getting hacked up, he could take a whole team down by himself -- especially on the Sinister map, where he can get close without taking a lot of fire. Ambush Bug is there for PC to make sure Al doesn't miss -- he can't afford to.

Other figs I considered:
-- V Azrael. If Support is allowed at all in your game, he can be your medic. If not, he'll "start" with Charge and 17 defense. Perfect for the theme.
-- V Rita Farr. Her movement's nice, her attack's 9, and she's got Plasticity+Super Senses. Kind of an expensive tie-up piece, but she'll be a good blocker to keep lines of sight off Atom Smasher while he approaches.
-- Rex Mason. If I'd had him, I'd have definitely used him for that 17 + Defend. As it turned out, he was the LE I won that day.

Nice suggestion, to bad he's over 100 points. If it were over 100 points, id say LE statesman(with cape) since he has that 4 damage and 9 attack. Another is KC Wonder Woman with flurry and super strengh.

Unfortunately, two more I was going to suggest -- E War Machine and LE James Rhodes -- are also over 100 points.

But U Captain Boomerang is 72 points and offers you HSS with range on that "first" click. Middling stats, though.

Try E or V Shade if you'd like lots of push-friendly TK & mid-dial Outwit.

Ah... true about the over 100 thing... well there is Always E Critical Mass Spidey with that Flurry.

Vet Magma's last click is her best.

V Atom Smasher! AWESOME piece.

Man, your judge should have waited to make this game after Sinister... There are so many back dial awesomeness pieces in that set...

Icons Batman's pretty good. He has his Leap/Climb Batman Ally combo, plus starting Outwit. The rookie's the only version under 100 points, though.

I think V Icons Aquaman has late dial Support too, so he could be a Medic type figure as well, if you want.
