I love this figure too but his biggest problem is he needs to perplx for himself too much. Especially since he seems to get into his own part of the map and looses LOS to his own teammates.

Exactly !!! She is a good friend to flyers with RS. A 10 attack with 3 damage all of a sudden becomes an 11 attack with 4 damage.

I like LE Elektra with RS figures b/c she has stealth but E DEO is my second choice

This is just my opinnion on the most effective clixs I used in the game. I am not including clixs I haven't played with... yet.

1. Con Artist. Yes I admit it I abused the pre-rule of 3 rules with a Savage Hulk. I still grin deeply remembering Thor E going down in one hit with my old 500 pt team.

2. Doc Samson V. He was on my 500 pt team. He was a great secondary perplexing attacker.

3. Doctor Octopus V. He had good movement and attack with that lovely brown on damage.

4. Wizard E. So very valuable during the Sinister booster seal.

5. Venom V/ Carnage. The Symbiote brothers were tasty together with pounce. The Devilish Duo.

6. Oracle. Yes you need ICWO to make her good. But a Oracled Lian Harpers gave me 11 pt Asian Hookers with first clix perplex. XD

7. Vertigo E. Misunderstood. A great fig with perplex, SS, and a 3 bolt Incap.

8. Longshot. Yes it takes 3 clixs to reach it. But the Prob control can keep me entertained till then. Plus got to love those Combat Reflexes now.

9. Shaman E. I like him. Bring on the BT Feat.

10. Dr. Mid-Nite E. All and all a great suport piece.

Btw. This isn't a top ten list. Just a list of 10 of my favorite perplexers.

Leaving Taskmaster out while including the rookie Bat-rogues and the Con-Artist is criminal in my eyes.

One trick ponies get boring, I prefer to spend my points on more versitile figs.

Some of those are the best perplexers in the game?
Here's a quick list...
#1 DEO Agent
#2 R Con Artist
#3 Oracle + Card
#4 R Mystique
#5 LE Atom = BT
#6 LE Dr Harley Quinzel = BT
#7 E Shaman = BT
#8 V Taskmaster
#9 REV Saturn Girl
#10 pouncing Venom!!

The top 3 should be non debatable... I'm sorry but the new change to CR ups batgirls stock by about 3%. Don't get me wrong... she works great as a BTer on an all Batman team, but I wouldn't use her at any other time!

This article came at just the right time! I was just going through and reorganizing all of my guys, thinking about the latest wave of retirement. The "Good Perplexers" bin was seeming a little low and now is the time (9/17) to have at least one Perplexer working for you at all times.

One question: What about V Dazzler and Ali Blair?

The Vet is a threat all on her own, and can get by without the use of her own Perplex, which leaves it to her allies.

Ali Perplexes at the end as well as the beginning, so you have to finish her off to get her to stop. And, she's decently threatening in the meantime.

I know that they both need rides, and I'm not saying they belong on this list. But, in a thread about good Perplexers, they definitely deserve mentioning.

I also like how E Batgirl has Perplex for over half her dial. That's a mark of a good perplexer to me.

I like Unique Green Goblin for the same reason. (replace L/C with flying)

I think Arnim Zola should have been somewhere on this list also. In games over 300, his dial alternates between Perplex and PC when he's hit. When he's wrecked, his Mastermind makes him pretty annoying to finish off, and his TA is always available for assistance also. The trick is you have to use him in such a way to force your opponent to go after him and therefore take advantage of his long dial. If your opponent refuses, make him pay for it by Perplexing every turn and constantly attacking with AZ's 6 range.

REV Mystique should have been placed on the list together. Others have mentioned the R or V, but I think that with each upgrade from the impressive Rookie, you get something good for your points with the E and V. After Perplexing the whole game if ignored, Mystique is great for moving in and attacking 3 out of the last 4 turns in the game. She has the Brohood so her movement doesn't pick away your attack action allotment. Last, all three have Stealth. To take her out, your opponent has to commit a Charger into your "backfield" or target her with something that ignores her Stealth. This leaves your hitters ignored at the loss or hurting of a 30-50 point support piece either way.

All said and done though, great work on the article, and lots of good picks!

Yeah I really like that Rookie Mystique. I used her last night in a theme game (we had to use all villians & they all had to be from the same team, no wildcards. I used Brotherhood of Mutants with Rookie Mystique with Ambush & lucky break, Rookie Destiny, Exp. Havok with Protected and Unique Magneto...I won with that team as well heh). Anyway she was awesome in that scenario. No one could shoot her in stealth & if someone got close.....Ambush!!!

I also really like that Exp. Vertigo...perplex, super senses & triple incap. gotta love it

Believe it or not, I considered him. He's got the same perplex/+1 attack TA thing the DEO agent has going, and that PC does come in handy, but he's too expensive to be on the list unless you're playing an obscenely high-point game.
