Clix vs. Comix TOC! 121-140, Round 1 Match 8: WILDFIRE VS. AWESOME ANDY
Kang and Quasar are tied over in match 6!
I was playing Heroclix one day. While building my team, I looked at my selection for 103pts characters and realized that U HT Batman and R IC Hulk both cost the same. This got me thinking. Just because they are Heroclix equals doesn’t translate back to comics. I think most of us would agree that Hulk could beat Batman in a fight.
Thus, the Clix vs. Comix TOC was born! Every entry will be close to the same amount of points Heroclix wise, but this will be their comic forms fighting!
Rules:
This will be a standard single elimination tournament with 32 combatants. There will be 2 to a fight. They get no knowledge of each other (unless they have fought in the past). The only thing they get is the Heroclix figure of there enemies, and a PAC so they know what the opponent looks like and a bit about what they can do (this can be misleading however, like if they face Electro and think he will try to poison them). They will have 5 minutes to prepare. This is a fight to the death or KO or 1 minute complete incapacitate, whichever happens first, and they must fight (no waiting for the opponent to die of starvation or for the terrain to dispose of them). They have with them what they normally carry and what there fig has if it is different. (Like how Bullseye doesn’t carry a gun, but he has one on the fig). If the fig that is being used is the rookie, you do NOT have to treat the fighter like that. (unless the characters powers change dramatically ie: Rouge)
When you vote, please try to justify your answer. You don’t have to write an essay, just a short explanation will do.
I would like to thank Whoclix for the bios, ‘cause I could never write ones like that myself.
Terrain
There are 10 terrains that are all 5 miles in diameter. They will be chosen randomly.
With out further delay…

Wildfire vs. Awesome Andy:
WILDFIREWikipedia
After Mordru destroyed the heroes Atom'x and Blast-Off, their souls were collected and contained in a special suit. Dubbed "Drake Burroughs" the combined hero joined the Legion of Superheroes as ERG-1. When his suit was destroyed, the disembodied energy reformed into the being known as Wildfire. Wildfire can absorb and fire blasts of energy and flight at lightspeeds through space.
AWESOME ANDYWikipedia
The Awesome Android is an artificial being created by the Mad Thinker using Reed Richard's own research into the fusion of DNA and unstable molecules. This genetic combination allows the Awesome Android to mimic any super power within its vicinity. In its many battles against super heroes, the Awesome Android has exhibited a plethora of powers including: enhanced strength and durability, transform its own skin to rock, ice, metal and diamond to protect it from physical and energy attacks, generate gusting wind, grow in height, grow wings for flight and stretch parts of its body, and absorb and reflect energy back at is opponent. The Awesome Android was part of a robotic team called Heavy Metal but has mostly served the Mad Thinker and his schemes. Freeing himself of the Mad Thinker's influence and developing a brain of his own, the Awesome Android takes up employment as a gofer at the law firm of Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg and Holliway. Known as "Awesome Andy," he helps She-Hulk on several adventures including defend her against his former master and an army of super villains!
I don't know if Wildfire and Andy squared off in the past, but Andy - even though he can dupe powers to a degree (and I believe it's not automatic and requires physical contact at some point) - can still be felled by enough raw power done fast enough (e.g. - when he's had his head ripped off in the past). Frankly, that's what Wildfire is all about: raw power (massively high strength, speed, imperviousness, etc. and those are 'secondary' to his anti-energy capabilities...also, Andy may not want to dupe Wildfire too much as it's a bad idea to do so unless you have a containment suit).
Vote: Wildfire

My Vote - Wildfire

They could never have faced off as they are form sepratre universe and times. The only place would be in a fan debate like this sone which would be inaccaplble. Wildfire is too powerful and Andy wont adapt quick enough.
Wildfire to win

Yes, I realize they are from separate times/creators - I was referring to whether or not they'd faced off in one of Magnito's previous match-ups (as St. Dumas asked if we hadn't already been through this). I promise you, I'm familiar with Wildfire. (And have the full run of Dan Slott's work on She-Hulk, so Awesome Andy's become pretty familiar too - that's how I remember his head getting torn off)
