V FF Ghost Rider is by far my favorite center piece in any two-hundred to three-hundred point game. His ability to deal decent damage to any character from up to 20 spaces away is awesome, as is his ability to absorb a good amount of damage.
Now this is Ghost Rider. He's simultaneously a street level piece dealing 3 damage to low level villains, but also able to summon the powers of hell to fight the big guys.
Much like Black Knight, Ghost Rider is awesome, has multiple clicks of penetrating 3 damage, and can deal out that damage with a great AV straight up via running shot or at -2 in a transporter hit and run. A full dial of damage reduction and solid AV and damage values make this guy a great and wondrously straightforward devastator of epic proportions; entirely reasonably priced, too.
How would you like a Ghost Rider with 5 damage? Just have Mister Fantastic from the FF starter bump up GH's damage +2 to see the carnage that will follow. Terrific piece for the points, really goes well with Vet Cable (Soldier X) or perplexers that enhance his stats.
"No, Joker. You’re playing the wrong game. The old game. Tonight you’re taking no hostages. Tonight I’m taking no prisoners."
The incredible REACH on this guy - if your opponent is frowning it's because nowhere on the map is safe from a cheap-shot by this GR thanks to Move & Attack - although an 8 attack with 3 damage isn't always enough. If they get within 14 spaces he can pour a 10-attack Psy Blast into it and then he's a REAL problem. The good news is that he can take a punch and retain Psy Blast, with Leap/Climb to reposition, but this guy is definitely more comfortable keeping a distance.
