Double-time is good to get him to his better clicks, as well as Shellhead if you think you want to push him.

And I'm sure some people play him with Haymaker, but I am not a huge fan of the card (but you could play it on him instead of Double-time to help push him into his better clicks too).

As far as BFC, I would look at Back Alley Brawl. Even though BK can use SS, with no Move and Attack powers, he will seldom get the chance to use an object. Back Alley Brawl will give him +2 to his already high AV when attacking on a click and no power is used.
Every relationship is fundamentally a power struggle, and the individual in power is whoever likes the other person less.

here's a strategy that sounds good in practice, but i haven't had a chance to playtest it yet:

E Banshee + Nova Blast carrying Black King.

Move Black King out his full movement, TK Banshee one space in front of him, then RS Nova Blast dropping Black King next to an opposing fig of your choice. It'll damge the opponent's figs for 3 damage while putting Black King on one of his best clicks.

May be too complicated to work. Not quite sure.

In any event, I'd go for Damage Shield or Haymaker on a fig like this.

I love Black King. I would use double-time or haymaker to get him furthur into his dial, as others have allready said.

Definitely Haymaker, and Unstoppable is useful too.

Shellhead is pretty awesome, because if you aren't using Doubletime or Haymaker to get him onto his mean clix you'll be pushing him a lot.

i'll second Haymaker. It's great for beefing up his weak clicks while getting him to his good ones.
