Hobie Brown was a window washer who lost his job. To make ends meet, he took some gear he had designed for his work, all so he could rob stores, and then later return the loot and be hailed as a "rewarded hero." He was caught by Spider-Man, who saw in Hobie a similar personality. He told him to change his life, and Hobie did just that. He's teamed up with Spidey and his allies numerous times, and was a short lived Defender.

He uses his claws and boots to get around (leap/climb) and fires obscuring gas from his wrist gauntlets (smoke cloud). His outfit affords him most of his defense at this point (toughness), and he's pretty good at hiding when he needs to get away, firing sleeping gas if neccessary (stealth, incap). Being a green belt in Tae Qwon Do (sp?), he's more of a close combat threat.

For his short stint in the Defenders (as well as a TA to share with Spidey Allies), Hobie's trying a little too hard to prove himself, charging in through his sprays and gasses (charge, incap, perplex). He bounces around distracting others from his friends, and then goes into hiding... daring you to approach him.

This Prowler hides in the shadows, knocking out enemies, and taking them out if they get too close. When he needs to, he charges in with stunning accuracy, and is better at taking on groups as opposed to single opponents. Finally, he pulls out some of his distracting gasses as well as his martial arts for some last minute gut out fighting.

I like them. I always liked the prowler.

I'm pretty sure he could, Pash. Then again, E13 knows way more about Spider-Man supporting cast than I do.

NICE! I like the Prowler and wish he'd make a comeback. I wonder if he's shown up in Civil War...?

Prowler is a definite must-make. He's a pretty cool character, and his costume just looks amazing.

He was anti-reg, and got in a fight with Ms. Marvel. She took him down, and most likely he's in the negative zone.

Yes, he can use those gloves for limited clawing, but they're hardly worth BCF, in my opinion. They would never be able to cut through anything major enough to warrant it.

I. Love. Him.

Of anyone in the "Spider-Man Supporting Cast", The Prowler is probably the one I want to see the most. And that's a freakin' spot-on representation of him. I can't say it enough, I love him.
