There was a disagreement with a new guy over the use of probability at the last tourament I went to and I just wanted some clarification that I couldn't find in the faq. Here is the scenario: A character is hit and his impervious roll fails. The original attack roll is rerolled because a reroller has line of sight and you have to force your opponents dice to reroll on their turn. If they hit, I was under the impression that the character gets a secound chance to roll his impervious. Please tell me if this is the case.
If a player chooses to reroll, then PC must target the attack, and not the damage-reducing/avoidance power. Impervious and Super Senses are two powers that just can't be rerolled.
The important thing to note in this order, Mr. Fantastic7, is that once the Impervious roll is made, you cannot reroll the attack roll. If you want to reroll the attack, you must do it before you roll for Impervious. So your whole scenario is illegal.

The PC Mantra will help solve all of your PC questions:
You can only PC your roll on your turn, and your opponent's roll on his/her turn.
Rolling for IMP- if you are the attacker, it's your opponent's roll on your turn, therefore it cannot be re-rolled.
If you are the one being attacked, it's not your turn when you are attacked, therefore you cannot re-roll your own IMP roll.
Also remember that with PC you must have Line of Sight to the figure who is making the roll. So you can't re-roll the results of effects (like Earthquake), that weren't caused by a figure.

Darth is correct on what can be re-rolled with PC but doesn't actually address your situation; Jak got it right
You cannot go back and re-roll something that has been resolved. Once the person rolls impervious, the time for the re-roll of the attack is gone.
A certain amount of courtesy is expected, allow an opponent a few seconds to decide whether to PC a roll (and check line of fire et al)

Thanks, Jak and BigSoph. Your posts were easy to understand and definately addressed my scenario. The rulebook is ambiguous at best. I'll have to bring this to my judge's attention. It is possible that my venue has inadvertently been playing incorrectly. I will bring the online rules to our next match and see if we can decipher them.
