TOM GOES TO THE MAYOR IS SO FUNNY. What are you talking about!!!
I got a business card, 'cause I want to win some lunches. That's what my business card says: "Mitch Hedberg, potential lunch winner." Call me some time, maybe we'll have lunch... If I'm lucky! Mitch Hedberg.

I enjoy programs that bring The Funny.
Tom goes to the mayor did not bring The Funny.
Tom goes to the mayor dragged The Funny out back behind the ol' woodshed and murdered The Funny. It then spit on, urinated on, deficated on and defiled The Funny's corpse.
It took pictures of The Funny's corpse in this state and sold them to the tabloid media while claiming it was the father of The Funny's child.
Tom goes to the mayor killed The Funny.

"Unacceptable? Did you see the pool? They flipped the #####!"
For current comedians, David Cross, Chris Rock and Silver Silverman are the best going.
I'm guessing you meant Sarah Silverman, but all three you mentioned are quite good.
Someone mentioned Woody Allen earlier. This guy is always a riot. Lenny Bruce (also mentioned) was great. It's too bad the persecution slowed his momentum. Richard Pryor took things to a whole new level.
Red Fox had a great standup act. Buddy Hackett is often overlooked. Don Rickles was probably the only guy who could get away with slamming Frank Sinatra. Rodney Dangerfield was brilliant. The Smothers Brothers were excellent.
I've always enjoyed Al Franken, all the way back to when it was Franken & Davis.
There are some others I want to mention but I can't dredge their names out of my cloudy memory, however the man who is the funniest in my mind will always be Groucho Marx. Harpo being a close second.
