I played a fun team today that ended up being pretty brutal.
U General Zod 236
U Captain Boomerange 78 + Armor Piercing 10
LE Len Snart 77 + Stunning Blow 10
V Trickster 58
V Jinx 54
E Man-Bat 38
E Vixen 38
Total 599
Using careful placement of figures would give me 4 potential outwitters at any given point, backed with Prob Control from Jinx to help make the hard shots. Man-bat's TA helped keep my attack values consistent, even if it was only consistently mediocre, and Vixen gave me some possible healing options. In retrospect it would probably be worth swapping Manbat for a V Hive Trooper and downgrading Trickster so I can play Inspiring Command, but Trickster's running shot does add a good degree of utility with a 3rd moving shooter. If I wanted to kill my theme I could have added some pogs as well, but I hate doing it.
I played a team composed of Man of Steel Superman, Icons Batman and Robin, U Flash, and Eclipso, and whooped on them in a very thematic fashion. Zod made the son of Jor-El kneel, and the Rogues beat the tar out of the Flash.
Wow, that is a really cool team. I'm really close to making it, too, all I need is a Captain Boomerang.
Why is Vixen on the team? Is she SE/Rogues?
I really like General Zod and am always looking for an opportunity to play him. Maybe once I get Mr. Mind, I can use him to MC guys to walk up to Zod, and then Zod can use his CCE to make them kneel.

Vixen was mostly stuck in because I wanted some more fodder for the wildcards, and the Rogues are fragile enough that I figured Suicide Squad would pan out pretty well. Thematically weak, but she provided some extra close combat mojo that the team definately needed.
Pretty nasty team! All those Outwits, backed up by a Probability Controller will make anyone shudder. Unless you go against a Fortitude-wielding tentpole team, that is!
I love to build teams like that, but often run into trouble playing them. Sometimes my turns seem to take forever, as I try to come up with the best position for my figures, to "maximize" the wildcard-abuse. Iīve found the SE/BA combo a somewhat hard to use, because you canīt replace attack values and have Outwit simultaneously with the same figure. Then again, itīs a matter of positioning and timing. Practise makes perfect!
