And our first Round 3 match started off with a close one, with The Beatles HEY JUDE holding on to a slight lead over Meat Loafs I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR LOVE. The overall vote count is a still a bit low, and we still have several days to go til that match is Closed, so its definately still anybodys game.

As for the rules, well as Im sure youve all figured out by now, this isnt really a TOC in the “fighting to the death” kind of way. Our members will not be dropping their axe guitars and drumsets to beat the heck out of one another. No, here in these Rock Wars TOC, were going to pair up our songs, in one on one competitions, as separate matches, at which time well all vote on which Song we like the best.

Now this isnt just a “What has it done, how legendary is it, how many Platinum Records do has this song racked up” contest. This isnt just which song is the more Iconic and Legendary, but more of a which one do YOU like more, who do YOU feel who would rather listen to, and ultimately more deserving to move on. (Maybe you like Crazy Train more than Imagine, or Feel Good Inc. more than Satisfaction, if so then vote accordingly and well go from there)

Pretty basic from there. Songs are matched up, you all vote on the one you like more, you feel is more deserving to move on over the other, they go to the Next Round, and we do this over and over again until the Rounds are Over. Easy.

Links have been provided to most every song here (hopefully every one by the time things get up and running), so as to help us all re-acquaint ourselves with these classic or fan favorite tunes. Something important to add about these links, the Videos themselves Should Not Be Considered when voting, nor any detriments (or bonuses) to the songs if only Live Performances could be found. Were basing this TOC on the songs themselves, not their videos or how well (or poorly) their artists can sing them on stage.
