I doubt it, but I just wanted to check on the rules. Because paying for an 150 point sentinel and a few supporters would be amazingly effective.
I got a business card, 'cause I want to win some lunches. That's what my business card says: "Mitch Hedberg, potential lunch winner." Call me some time, maybe we'll have lunch... If I'm lucky! Mitch Hedberg.
It is not affected by Exploit Weakness, Force Blast, Incapacitate, Mind Control, Plasticity, Poison, Psychic Blast, Shape Change, Steal Energy, Support, or any team ability or effect that reproduces those powers.
"How does [insert special power] work with the new 2013 rules?"
Most everything special power-wise, we're looking into. The PAC changes may change the way some special powers function; we're checking on them before the June release. In the meantime, ask your judge.
Right in the Sentinel (old and new) rules it states that it ignores other character's Support. You can use Nanobots, and that's the only way.
Not true, with Mercinary, you can now have him an Xman/Titans/Suicide Squad/Fantastic Four (Xmen are no longer AE to Sentinels according to the currently written rules, they just score double/triple points. There's also Avengers Tbolted to Xmen could be done too.)
Hmm. How 'bout Mercenary to Suicide Squad on Mr. Sentinel? Ooch.
You're looking at a pretty major investment there. About 330 points just for that one trick (150 for Sentinel + 25 for Mercenary + at least 151 for the character to borrow SS TA from). I don't think any of the Suicide Squad are that expensive, so that leaves you T-bolting a big expensive Avenger like Thor to get the TA.
Might be worth it, depending on the build, but I doubt it will see much play

You are so getting rep for that little bit of nastiness!

:D I try.
FF, there are 11 pieces over 100 points. None over 150
SS, Blockbuster and Chemo over 100. None over 150
Titans has Superboy at 127 and the new Wonder Girl at 116
Xmen have 14 0ver 100, and 4 over 150 (Juggernaut and the 3 levels of JEan Gray Phoenix)

Yeah, I figured if anyone was going to try something like this, it'd be with the 100 pt. Sentinel and a Suicide Squad heavy hitter with pogs, support and little else, relying mainly on cheap tie-up pieces to keep the guns off of the tent-pole and the Sentinel and just pushing the Sentinel like mad to capture.
Tough sell, but definitely something I'd try...but then again, I'm zany like that.
EDIT: Speaking of this, could you Mercenary to a Thunderbolted TA? This would be pretty killer with Exp. Warmachine, with a slew of Mockingbirds and pogs
I am fairly sure that you cannot mercenary to someone's Thunderbolts...Now if there was already a figure with the natural TA on the build total...then possibly you could use the Thunderbolted figure to stand in for the higher point teammate?? I think that would work

NOPE
just looked it up cannot use Thunderbolts in any way...The feat GRANTS the team ability and you cannot use anyone that has a team ability granted by a feat

Yup. That's what I get for not reading the feat a second time before posting.

Finally, I get to see the look of utter confusion on my opponent's faces when I tell them my Sentinel is a Masters of Evil Mercenary!!!
.... heh. The sad thing is... I'd be willing to do that, just to see what reactions I'd get...
