300pts No Cardboard
So this Tuesday's game is 300pts, head to head, no cardboard allowed. We all usually try and make theme teams so I'm thinking of this:

Avengers
Total: 298pts

R-Thor 112pts
R-Vision 65pts
R-Ant-Man 48pts
R-Black Panther 27pts
E-Moon Knight 27pts
E-Wasp 19pts

I'll be able to mobilize my figures with all the free move, plus I can carry the grounded 3 too. Basically Thor, Vision and Moon Knight will do most of the fighting. Ant-Man and Black Panther will just Outwit, and Pym can take a shot here and there if he has one. And Wasp will be a tie up and possibly do a little damage. One thought I had was to replace Vision with the E-Quicksilver from AW.

Any thoughts, suggestions, comments are welcomed.

-Edit-

So I tried the team with Vision and Quicksilver and Quicksilver was much better. So I'm gunna use him.

I would switch it over to Quicksilver, let him smack the stealthed outwitters on the other team. With no cardboard you need to use the maps to your advantage, try to get indoors so you can't be hit from too long of range. The only thing I could really suggest is to drop R-Black Panther and add E-Mockingbird, she will be a better tie up piece and being able to lock down any other grounded figure on the board. Its not better per se, just something different to throw out there.

I do like how Quicksilver adds mobility to the team so I'm using him instead of Vision. I would like to have another fighter such as Mockingbird, but I feel that Panther's Outwit will help me more than having Mockingbird tie up people. Though I could drop Moon Knight for Mockingbird, but I like his SS and Willpower.

I think I would go with Mockingbird also. Most pieces in Stealth are grounded, so Mockingbird will be a great tie-up piece for those pieces.

While BP will give you cheap Outwit, if you can't see them, you can't Outwit them.

I would worry about Hindering Terrain and Quicksilver, but I guess you can always use Thor and Moonknight to move objects out of his way.

I'm planning on using this team in a 300pt game soon;

V Robin 65
V Starfire 96
E Raven 65
R Changling 31
R Cyborg 44

Total 301 pts

the theme is classic titans, Robin is an all around pain in the arse with his stealth, outwit, willpower and incapacitate not to mention his decent 10 AV, yes he can only inflict 2 damage but every click counts in these games, Starfire is the power behind the team with her range and 4 base damage she's going to be the major thorn in your opponents side, Raven is the teams great support peice with her PC, barrier, support later on aswell as her incapacitate and decent range, she'll keep the team together i garentee it, Changling is in there as a human shield for Starfire to carry around, also he can do the damage swap with her and push himself onto his super strength with 10 AV, cyborg is there as.....well he keeps the theme going and with Ravens help he may have a chance of inflicting 3 penetrating damage to someone with pulsewave, if i had E Arsenal i'd throw him in instead but what can i do?

if you want to keep an avengers theme i'd suggest throwing in hawkeye or black knight, my friend plays avengers teams constantly and those 2 characters always seem to deal some major damage to 1 of my vital characters mainly due to BK's mobility or hawkeye's range, Cap is also quite useful in low cost games like this as he's a tough character to kill and has a lot of exploit weakness and outwit to cut through peoples defensive abilites, hope that helps

I don't have a decent Black Knight, but I do have a Vet Hawkeye from FF. Maybe I should switch him out for Thor?

You are aware that this team would get you DQ'd immediately in a 300 point game...?

Mine is
Vet Robotman
Rita Farr
Negative Woman

299 points

Next time I play 400, same team plus Oracle on card, all 3 ICWO

the remaining 44 points can be nanobots on Robotman
