Interesting, and with a friend who ensures that no zombie film is left unwatched, I'll probably go see it. Sorta reminds me of the end of Shawn of the Dead, though I don't think it'll be quite as good as that movie.

It almost reminds me of a Tim Burton film.

A month or so back I made a list of movies I'd gladly pay to go see this summer but probably won't get to - especially as the local theater owner doesn't want to be open for anything - and this was definitely on the list.

Fortunately, I think it'll "survive" DVD transfer (as opposed to something that's going to be far grander on the big screen with surround-sound and all that jazz) but from all that I've heard about the film, I'm urging folks who get a chance to see it, to do so.
