Ok the above figures is what Trader X wants. Below are the items they offered in return.

Now these are all good pieces but nothing I am overly interested in and the value of anything is relative to what someone is willing to give for it. That being said cash value wise this is probably a rather even trade but I don't wanna trade for these items. These are just items I am not willing to trade my Wizard Shazam or Irene Adler for. So I respond.

Now I believe I was being very polite in my response short and to the point. I know from my own experience alot of traders won't even take the time to tell you they aren't interested you just never hear back from them. But I try to be polite and return all PM's in regards to trades. So trader X responds to me.

I feel this response is completely uncalled for. Trade X submitted a trade offer to me. I looked at it. Decided I didn't want to trade for any combination of the items they offered. Then I took a moment to respond to thank them for the offer and then I get treated like a jerk. This has happened more than once lately from different traders here. I PMed a Moderator about it because I thought this was rude and uncalled for and I didn't figure anything would be done about it since no swear words or anything were used. Personally I think Moral Standards of folks trading here are going down hill. Like when someone makes you a offer they expect... no almost demand you have to trade with them because from thier point of view they are giving you one heck of a deal.

Anyone else running into this or am I just a magnet for rude people? Maybe I am being overly sensitive? Thoughts and opinions are welcome either here or via PM.

Think of it this way. Folks putting up a wants and haves list should do so expecting to trade when the haves are offered.

It's real frustrating to see a Wizard Shazam thread with nothing that will allow you to obtain it.

I've even gotten to the point where I said "name your price, feel free to be greedy with your list" and still got turned down. I mean what is the point of having that list if I offer you everything on it and still get told no?

I feel that if a person is putting up a trade list and you make an offer of the figures they listed and you are 90% close in dollar value the trade should happen. I mean why else post the list? To show off?
To do otherwise and you are not being an honest trader.

I even go so far at times to post my trade offer vs a PM to make sure people know what they kind of offers they are dealing with. If it ends up getting turned down then it gives everyone a heads up that the Wizard or Zombie or KC whatever isn't really obtainable.

I've trade Uniques/LEs and purple Rings for Lockjaws and Rookie Mon-els. It was on my list and they offered me what I was looking for and so the trade happened. I even honored a trade after I reached my goal of Mon-els because I hadn't updated my trade thread to let folks know I was done.

So if I understand you correctly you would fall into the group of people I mentioned previously in this thread please correct me if I am wrong. I draw the line when people get rude. I am showing off? No if I was showing off I would post all my chase figures I have for trade and all my other High End Big Figures, U's, LE's, Rare Vets, and Cardboard. I'm being dishonest and a bad trader because I declined a offer? Know one can expect me or anyone else to accept a offer because they think we should but we don't have to.

I think I spell it out clearly here this is at the very top of my trade thread. Honestly this seems like another example of what the topic of this thread is about. Seems like you were trying to get personal accussing me of bragging and being dishonest, I hope I am wrong but that is what it feels like.
