I've got a real love of B-movies from the 1930s and 1940s that featured the various famous detectives of literature and my personal collection of these films has grown to the point where I'm making a seperate section for them in my DVD case.
I thought of filing them alphabetically, but that's just boring. What I'm going to do is file them in decending order depending on who was the greatest detective among them. (Lord, I am a geek, aren't I?)
Obviously, Sherlock Holmes goes first. But there order the rest of them should go in is debatable. Here's a list of the famous detectives represented in the the old B-movies I own.
1. Sherlock Holmes
2. Charlie Chan
3. Nick and Nora Charles
4. Mr. Moto
5. Nancy Drew
6. Dick Tracy
7. Ellery Queen
8. Bulldog Drummond
9. Boston Blackie
Anyone have any opinions who is the greatest amongst these? In what order should I store my DVDs?
