I tried to locate something like this and it seems that all Battleplanner discussion is in multiple threads. I would like to have a single location for all Battleplanner talk and coordination.

The main reason for this thread is so that HCRealms members that use Battleplanner can coordinate on updates together. I wanted to start updated the keywords for old figs, but I hate doing the work when someone else already has. So I would like to pair off the work for anyone currently on it or done with it.

Also, this is a good central location for BP questions and comments.

I wish someone had the knowhow to create a formatted list that those of us with the deluxe program could import the latest keyword list. I don't quite have the confidence to say I could do it correctly.

Well I barely knew how to edit figs and input new stuff in the first place. Have you already started on the keyword lists? If so, how far have you gotten?

I figure that if we have most of the BP editors on the Realms then we can each take a set or two and have it done quickly.

I did HT, but just got to busy to do more.

Well in that case, I'm going to start backwards from newest set to oldest. I have some time today and could probably get through one set or so. I'll update here so we can avoid repeating each others work.

I thought this thread would be a good place for folks to say "Don't bother adding so-and-so cuz I already did it."

I'm sure there's some little addict out there that added all of them.

I'm starting with Fantastic Forces.

I applaude those w/ the computer savvy to do this project. I, on the other hand, have about enough know how on working computers to fill the space of a split-pea. I am glad to see a thread like this created. As an owner of the deluxe, special, directors cut, wide screen edition of BP it is nice to know when updates get updated.

Speaking of complex computer stuff...any suggestions on how I add new keywords to BP in the first place. I went to the game editor and...yeah...

So, I have sent in the keyword update on Fantastic Forces, along with a list of keywords that need to be added to the system.

I just noticed that Sinister hasn't had any keywords added to it, so I am going to do that today I guess.

Dear Battleplanners:

I realize that "Retired" is a choice in the powers tab...but for the purposes of Approved Play construction, I'd like a big red button at the top of the page to click to select quickly between restricted/unrestricted figures.

Figures from today and the Critical Hit Extra have been entered and submitted.

I wish they'd add the capability to search by starting click only (or selectable click from first to last) - when I want front loaded outwit figs someone with it on click 5 is not that useful, similarly if I want a solid opening attacker (11+) guys who spike at the end are not that hot.

You can set it to look only at the first click. There are two red arrows right below the "Help" menu. The up will look at all clicks, the one pointing to the left will only look at first click.
