The next few days passed surprisingly uneventfully. The Avengers used them to prepare what to say and who would go. Jack of Hearts, Mantis, and Hercules were still pretty beat up, though Herc was recovering remarkably fast for someone whose entrails had been essentially ripped out. Mantis too was recovering quickly but Jack remained unconscious. The Wasp had still not fully recovered from her injuries but she was moving about just fine now. On the brighter side Monica, the Black Panther, and She-Hulk were all good as new thanks to the advanced technology on Eros's ship.

Eventually they got to Kree space and made contact with the Kree Defense Force. After a heated exchange of words the ship reluctantly agreed to escort them to Kree-Lar though they made no promises of an audience.

When they got to Kree-Lar they contacted a general who essentially laughed them off. Despite protests from Eros the general gave the order to fire on them. Being a lover not a fighter Eros barely managed to dodge even the first few volleys, let alone the ones after that. His ship soon became heavily damaged and he went for the only option he had, a crash landing on Kree-Lar.

The Avengers managed to survive the landing intact and soon after all able bodied Avengers left for the capital, including the Falcon who refused to be left behind, and Eros who didn't want to miss the fun. After a few days of fighting and trekking through the wilderness they finally made it to the capital. The Avengers bravely fought through wave after wave of Kree soldiers, finally breaking through into the Chamber of Justice.

"We demand an audience!" Captain America yelled. A huge kree, dressed in green armour stood up bemusedly.

"Apparently so." He said. "It seems you will stop at no less. Very well, what is it that you wish to say."

"You have made our home into a galactic prison, with no regard for our people."

Ronan merely shrugged. "Our jails were overcrowded. Yours was as good as any."

Thor bristled with anger. "Surely you could have found a barren planet to turn into a cesspool of villainy."

"Maybe so. But the Shi'ar recommended your world. And it did not require any terraforming."

A pink skinned Kree in a red and blue uniform turned to Ronan. "Perhaps they are right. We shouldn't be using inhabited worlds with such disregard."

Ronan's eyes narrowed as he looked at his kinsmen. "You dare to question me Mar-vell? I am the Accuser, head of interglactic justice. These terrans are nothing but inferior genetic riff raff, beneath our concern. No, we will not change the location of the prison. D'ken had good reason to choose it, and we will honour that."

He turned and looked at the Avengers. "Now, as for you. How dare you force your way into my chamber, meddling in affairs far above your stead. I hereby accuse you of interfering with the path of justice, a crime punishable in the Kree Empire by death! Guards, attack!"

The Avenger charged forward knowing they had to take out their foes fast before reenforcments could arrive.

Knowing who the leader was T'Challa leapt forward and shot a small dart at Ronan's eyes. Ronan laughed at the projectile until it exploded in a flash of light, momentarily blinding him.

Thor took the opening and flew forward, letting Mjolnir fly. Blinded by the light Ronan did not react in time to block the impact and it shook him square in the test, rattling him hard.

Monica tried to follow up with a blast but nervous from the fight her aim was off.

Captain America hoped that by injuring their leader the Avengers could end this quickly and without any deaths. He lead She-Hulk and Eros in a charge at Ronan.

Meanwhile the Falcon muttered to himself and decided to go around the long way and take out some of the blue skinned freaks from the rear.

Kree, 2a:

Leadership 1 (Tactics): 6, 8 actions.

1) Captain Mar-vell pushes to Running Shot to M11 and attack Starfox. AV of 10 vs DV of 17. Needs a 7. Rolls a 3 (2+1). Miss. He'll PC that. Re-roll is a 5 (4+1). Still a miss. He takes a push click.

2) V Kree Warrior #3 attempts to Incap Eros. AV of 9 vs DV of 17. Needs an 8. Rolls a 10 (6+4). Hit. Starfox takes a token and a push click.
