back in the desert again for Team Shadow, where once again their wind control and illusions will prove quite valuable. I wonder how close Purple Man needs to be to mind control someone or if he's just going to end up gun fodder.
Wind Dancer is great for shutting down Purpleman- she had a teammate with pheramone powers and has used hers for a countermeasure on several occasions.
The real tough one is going to be goblin; I don't see how team Ragman is going to take down Norman- Wind Dancer's wind, even with added sand, won't take him out.

She would first have to know that Purple Man's powers are based upon pheramones to actively counter them.
It will make it hard for him to get almost all of his ranged attacks to work right, but your right there is just the simple problem of getting him to come down and fight right.

Wind Dancer's wind (combined with Shadow's mind-messin') can ground him, and then either Dead Girl or Ragman can put him out.
And bombs don't need precise targeting, nor is Norman the most mentally pliable so Shadow's going to have to concentrate a lot to make sure the illusions are up.

I don't think she's strong enough to force down the glider, which can stay airborne via pure thrust really easily. Make it very turbulant for him, sure, but I'm not sure if that'll do it.

I think Team Gobby can pull out a win here, mostly on the strength of Norman's powers.
His backup isn't too shabby either, but I think that Purple Man is going to get capped by the Shadow in short order, making him two points of dead weight. Wind Dancer is nasty in this terrain, but she's a 1 point-er, so once the goblin's allies figure out what a threat she is, it'll be a cat and mouse game between the teams to keep her protected.
That's a game that puts gobby's force on the offensive, and with that sort of strategic advantage they can win the whole thing.
Whoa, woops! I just realized there was a major error here: Team Ragman won their first round match and was in the other bracket, so they shouldn't be here, team Northstar should.
Ignore this match.
