I have been enamored with playing Professor Xavier effectively recently. I have decided that he may do well on a 300pt. team consisting of:

Prof. Xavier - 131
+Protected - 8
Iceman - 60
Cyclops - 50
Angel -50

Total: 299pts

What do you think? Is this team competitive whatsoever??

The team idea is pretty good, plus with them all being mutants they can benefit from Cerebro. But you might have trouble close combat. Remove Iceman. Replace Angel with Danger Room Storm (Another ranged but this time with stealth) and add maybe X23.

Professor X 131
+Protected 8
+Mental Shields 15
Cyclops 50
+Armor Piercing 10
DR Storm 40
X23 35
+Vault 3
+Disintigrate 7
Total 300.

This way you have the ranged support of Storm and Cyclops but with much more of a threat. Also if someone bases you,X23 can mop them up. Plus you'll be harder to hit with 2 stealthed figures. One as a flyer and another as support. All of which are cerebro compatible.

Plus Professor X with 12 range mindcontrol with mentalshields can pretty much mindcontrol anything.
