Peers over Tanis11, 298-0, via concession after some of the worst dice luck I've seen in a PbP game ever.

... on the downside, that puts me in first place by a decent margin, even if the Jpuffy/Melkhor game ends with a flawless victory since there's no arch-enemy points at stake there... I'm gonna hafta pay attention to that game, aren't I?

Remember, the first criteria in the rankings is Wins, so if you go 2-1 and two other players go 3-0, they'll get the nod before you will (so your next game is equally important).

Shhhh. Just let me enjoy my momentary supremacy. I'll worry about how I'm going to beat either of those two perplex-heavy teams later...

Hey All,

Just a quick announcement> Partly because I'm getting buried at work, and partly because a lot of people are still playing, I'm extending this round by a week. If I have outstanding correspondence for you, I'll do my best to get it to you as soon as I can.

-thanks

Hey all,

Quick update. There are two games still playing out. They have until Friday at which point I'll call time and start Round 3.

If you can, please confirm your continued participation. We've had a few players go missing this round and I'd like to get an accurate head count for round three.

Currently Peers and DarkCorsair are sitting atop the leader board, but depending on the outcome of the two remaining games (and who returns in the third round) it could still get crowded at the top. Good Luck to everyone!

-thanks

I, too, would like to continue and am wondering how the older figures will play with the new rules (even though our Xplosion tourney is using the old rules...).

I'm still here. And as said, interested to see how old expansions play with new rules (since we have just the finals for Xplosion, the next set should use F4, right?)

Matches are up Here:

Current Matches:
Xplosion:

Round 3:
Peers vs. Leemac38
DarkCorsair vs. Jpuffy
TheVagrantKing Vs. Kreuger666
Tanis11 vs. Choonhui
Stepper79 vs. rouge2
Da-Craig-O vs. HavokandChaos
Mikeinmke vs. Glen Quagmire

Right now, the winner of the Leemac38/Peers match automatically advances to the finals. If DarkCorsair defeats Jpuffy, he'll clinch the second spot in the final. If he loses however, the second slot will go to the player with 2 wins and the highest point total. So really, it's still anyone's game right now. Play aggressively and start racking up those points!
