As an aside, I'm scared of VSRealms. Even in the deepest of my VS interest, the threads are SO full of codetalk that I can't understand a word. You think it's bad keeping ICWO, LAMP, SIF, SUB, and NAAT straight, try 300+ cards per set, each of which earns an initialization the moment someone finds a great use for it...
Quoted for crazy amounts of truth. I have played both Magic: the Gathering and Vs. pretty seriously in the past, and found that "codetalk" and other abbreviations run much more rampant in comic-book based games than in pure fantasy games. Maybe it's because Vs. and HeroClix (it is much more manageable in this game) refer to characters that exist in a medium beyond the cards -- sure, they write novels about M:tG legendary characters, but the origin is still the card, whereas the comic is the origin here.
Vs.talk:
"I took out the FETH but put in 2 each of HPT and XVRF, just in case my GH4 and LPP aren't enough if I come against someone playing EDDTF, GGL-SOTYDFG or SPPSAAALERFV."

When he came out the Ultimates Vet was a great figure for 128 Points. However the new FF Starter Thing is much better thanks to his Special Powers. You should go have a look at him.

Oh you mean Experience Rings! They really serve no purpose when every sculpt is Unique.

I'm wondering which Vet Thing you're referring to. If it's the start Thing that's coming out, I'd have to say his full-move charge and ability to take away friendly action tokens, mixed with better attack and defense values and packaged for less than any other vet does make him the best Thing ever.
But best figure? Naw, V HIVE Trooper.
We need Sand. And Sandman. And even Sandy the Golden Boy.
Is "red" maybe some new slang for "strong," "exemplary" or "of significant quality?"
This could get really confusing -- suppose someone pulls up in an impressive convertible sports car with a paint job that is black. Can I call it a "red" car?
Am I this far out of the loop?

It looks like a fun dial with fun Special Powers. I can see playing him.
Not sure I really understand the 15 defense down near the end of the dial though. --I mean, this is the Thing. Rock-like skin, you know? Sure, the number represents the difficulty to hit, but doesn't it also represent the difficulty to hurt?
Should the Thing EVER really be less than a 17? Or ever without (at a minimum) Toughness? Just a thought.

I always thought that end dial Impervious would be good for the Thing showing how hard it is to take him out. Indominatable would have been really good for him also.
I love this thread. I love this game. I love that is brings people to a fantastic forum to discuss its inner workings only to have posters like lastchance babble awesomely incoherent thoughts and then get nailed for them. I wish I could meet and get a game in with each and every one of you guys. Keep clixin'.
::Singing:: Plastic crack, plastic crack. I love, I love my plastic crack.
I love that this world has people like Leggo who name themselves after plastic building sets and add comments to odd threads to point out how amazing we all are and invite us all to his house built out of Duplo blocks for clix and a three course dinner. I'd bring a jell-o mold, but I think that'd be too many words ending in 'o' under one non-Spanish roof. I don't want to make Leggo's house seem Spanish unless he wants it to. That's just rude.
