I was playing Heroclix the one day and I looked at my selection and realized that U HT Batman and R IC Hulk both cost the same amount of points. This got me thinking. Just because they are Heroclix equals doesn’t translate back translate back to comics. I think most of us would agree that Hulk could beat Batman in a fight.

That is the idea for this tournament. Every entry will be close to the same amount of points Heroclix wise, but this will be their comic forms fighting!

Rules:
This will be a standard single elimination tournament with 16 combatants. There will be 2 to a fight. They get no knowledge of each other (unless they have fought in the past). The only thing they get is the Heroclix figure of there enemies and their character cards (if the figure does not have a card, assume there was a custom one made). They will have 5 minutes to prepare. This is a fight to the death or KO, whichever happens first, and they must fight (no waiting for the opponent to die of starvation). They have with them what they normally carry and what there fig has if it is different. (Like how Bullseye doesn’t carry a gun, but he has one on the fig).

Mountain: A rocky mountain side, this terrain is not very soft or forgiving. A mix of steep cliff sides and gradual inclines.

O... k. This is a tough one.

Shrinking Violet can go small and take out individual duploids, but Multiplex can make duploids faster than she can do that, easy.

Multiplex can't hurt Violet.

Violet can't take out Multiplex as a whole.

In short, it's a can't-take-out/can't-take-out draw.

Hmm, I guess Violet could try and cause a rockslide to get all the duploids... but that seems like a long shot at best.

Multiplex can make tiny dupes... how tiny? Small enough to be able to actually fight Violet?

Even then, she wouldn't get them all, and then they would repopulate.

I'll vote for Multiplex.

Violet lacks any serious way to deal with an army. Eventually Multiplex will take her out.

No, not a chance, they're just moderately small, she can go atomic.

He suffers backlash whenever his duploids are taken out, destroy a bunch at once and you can win.

Anyway, throw my vote in for Vi. Multiplex has no way to hurt an atomic-sized flier.

I'll take Vi as well, she's Legion she'll work something out.

He does have some sort of power source in him (that he got along the way, and didn't come with) he draws on to make duploids. Maybe she can mess with that.

Can Vi stay tiny forever?

I'm pretty sure she can, I've never seen her have to get big. The Threeboot version is naturally microscopic even.

I guess I vote for Vi then.

Seems like Multiplex won't be able to ko her but she'll eventually cause enough damage to hurt the real one or something.

Yea. All of the win conditions are 'maybes' and 'possiblies', but that's all either side has and Vi has more of them.

She lacks any sort of offense signifigant enough to deal with more then one at a time though.

That's not going to take him out.

It'll be a long and arduous fight, but Vi will pull it out in the end.
