Rules... stolen from JOH, and modified just a bit...
1) There is a Town. They win by getting rid of the mafia/non-friendly neutrals. Each night, many of them do something (investigate or protect for instance) to try to find the mafia. During the day, they try to vote off the mafia.
2) There is a Mafia, maybe even more than one. They win by getting rid of everybody that isn't in their mafia. Each night, they will remove townies from the game. Each day, they will try to prevent the townies from voting them off.
3) If more than half the players vote for the same player during the day (i.e. Majority), that player is lynched and is removed from the game. You should bold your lynch votes so that I don't miss them or think you are kidding. You can vote for anyone but chances are nothing will happen if you try to lynch someone who isn't playing. You can also vote for a No Lynch, but some mods will remove a random player from the game to ensure that the game doesn't stagnate if no player is voted off. If you feel like leaving a vote with someone, you can say Leave Vote with: Player, but I frown upon it. You cannot "leave with majority".
4) There are unfriendly neutrals that could be trying to kill everybody or recruit their own mafia or maybe something else entirely. They win in odd ways but they hurt the town so the town must eliminate them to win.
5) There are friendly neutrals. They also have strange win conditions but they don't really hurt the town. Sometimes they can win with either the town or the mafia but in general the town doesn't need to get rid of them. Friendly and unfriendly neutrals are hard to tell apart and you'll just have to use your best judgment on whether you want to vote for them or leave them be.
6) Don't do these 3 things: Quote your role pm or the role pm of anybody else, talk about this game outside of this thread even via pm unless you are pming a mason teammate or a mafia teammate, and don't edit your posts. If you do one of these 3 things, you may be modkilled to ensure the game's fairness. I'm a stickler for these. You see how it says 'may'? Assume may = will.
Have fun, y'all. Remember, it's just a game. Tempers may flare, and people may come off like complete a-holes... but they are trying to win, just like you.
Addendum: Just so there's no question of quoting your PM, if for some reason you are roleblocked, jailkept, target jailkept person, target someone untrackable, someone untargetable, or something similar, you will be informed that "Your action failed".
Addendum Part II: The Town's win condition is "You win when all threats to the Tower are eliminated." The Mafia's win condition is "All threats to your faction must be wiped out, and the Dark Tower falls." Neutrals? Who knows.
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed. So how it was, so shall it be…
…
At least, that's how it was supposed to happen. But something has changed. An unknown force has gained access to a level of the Dark Tower, and is changing everything, be it for benevolent or malevolent reasons.
Destiny foretold that the final battle would be between Roland and the Crimson King, in the fields of Can'-Ka No Rey, but through manipulation of time and space, destiny is being re-written. Players long forgotten are returning. Heroes of strong will are coming as like babes. Villains of The Red conspire against The White in ways unimaginable.

Look now, and see a man who has recently lost everyone he ever loved. He has nothing now but the Tower, his guns, his horn, and the belief that an enigmatic man in black will lead him there. But see him well, as he takes his first step on his journey, only to come face to face with a free-standing door, not twenty paces ahead of him.
He approaches the door, and reads the inscription, written in the High Speech of his father, and his father's father.
"DARK TOWER SHORTCUT"
The last gunslinger of Gilead ponders his actions. Perhaps with a few more years of experience, he would rethink his actions… but while a gunslinger through and through, he is, in truth, but a child who is in pain, dealing with the loss of his friends.
Opening the door, he no longer sees the dirt road around him, but a room of grey stone. He hesitates only a moment… then steps through.
*
Oh, but would he be alone? No, my friends. While some things may change, the Ka-tet of the Nineteen and The Ninety-Nine would ever be connected. Throughout time, and various worlds, the doors appeared, and were opened. Some open from our world. Some open from the gunslinger's. Some open further past then the young gunslinger's time. Some open from the far future that he may never see. But all end up in the same place.

Look finally with deep sadness, as a door appears in front of a young child, no more than five, as he draws on hard cement with colorful chalk. From behind him, a man (or what passes for a man) in blue jeans and cowboy boots approaches. The child turns with a smile, and looks up at him with innocence.
"Hi there, mister. My name's Patrick. What's yours?"
A huge smile full of blinding white teeth came from the gentleman as he looked down. "Well, son, you can call me Randy. What you drawing there?"
The young boy turned to his drawing, of a tall thin man in a wide brimmed hat, standing in a field of red, one large black building in the background. "His name's Roland. I'm going to save him.
Still smiling, the man crouched down and grabbed the boy's neck. "Well we can't have that, can we?"
With a squeeze, the young boy was dead. Chuckling, the walking dude stood up, approached the door, and stepped through, entering the Castle Discordia.
DarqFeonix is dead! He was Patrick Danville (Town), Ex-Deus Ex Machina
With 18 players, 10 votes are needed for a Majority. Game will open Sunday Night. Feel free to subscribe (you can do it when the thread is closed)
I feel it important to issue this warning, though: my knowledge of the DarkTower characters and universe are limited to the first book, which I read and have almost entirely forgotten at least 20 years ago, and the current prelude comics.
I will do my best to maintain the appropriate decorum, but should I make utterances that do not befit my role, I hereby apologize to one and all.
...........now, if we can just get Dracula confirmed.
