Since the WK site is defunct, I'm listing upcoming events for the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Michigan area.

Generally, the events are:

Thursday Nights 6:30pm - 9pm: Fun 4 All (web)

The games are short because of the hours, usually 40 minutes or less. Turnout has been 3-4 players. The judge will sometimes play as a "bye".

Saturday Afternoon 1:30pm until whenever (web)

Turnout has just been a couple of us, so we play until last figure is defeated. I judge...we have an assorted old prize pool, but it's been well picked over. If you come more than one week in a row and tell me you are looking for a particular piece, if I can get it I will add it to the next event!

We will be playing the "traitor" scenario from ibeatdrew!

Note: The Ann Arbor Art Fairs are the week of July 13-19, so we will not be having a game downtown on Saturday. Feel free to shop at the store however if you make it to Main Street!

Updates:

The Saturday event at Vault of Midnight (Traitor Scenario) will be "no BFCs" in addition to "no feats". The scenario is BFC enough, IMO.

16 July 2009 (Thursday at Fun4All) will be 350 points (3 actions), unrestricted.

The only regular player for the 11 July Saturday Event had to cancel, and no one else showed to play. We'd still like to try the "traitor" scenario, so we'll try it again on

Theme bonuses allowed for each player, until they reveal their traitor. They keep whatever bonuses they had if the traitor qualifies for the theme.

Kevin Smith is on tour, and will be in Ann Arbor on 19 September. I have no reason to think he'll stop by the Vault to play clix on that Saturday (EMU is playing UofM in Ann Arbor that afternoon), but I'd be pretty shocked if he didn't visit Ann Arbor's coolest comic book store at some time during his visit.

I won't be running an event at Vault of Midnight on the 29th of August (Saturday).

The next Event at Fun4All: 27-Aug-2009 (Thursday Night, 6:30pm)

300 points, you must have a non-generic theme team. (There was some other nebulous rules allowing mods, but quite frankly the build restrictions always seem peculiar, so just bring a non-generic theme team)

There will be no Saturday event 29-Aug-2009 at the Vault, but we will be planning an event on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I'll post details.

The Vault is going to be hosting a Vampire Card tournament that day, so room might be cramped. I'm thinking of keeping an event for that day/time maybe to draw interest from card players!

I've been somewhat overwhelmed at work this week, and I'm not sure I'll be able to handle getting downtown during the first UofM Football game, so I won't be running a Saturday event at Vault of Midnight this week.

If I'm not at work, I will either be recovering, doing lawn work and/or minor auto maintenance.
