These are fabulous! I wonder - would you mind if I integrated them into Heroclix Online for play? (you can learn about HCOL at crowsnest.amelieschoice.com if you want to see what's up)
I'll make a donation!

That said I'm ok with ppl letting me know they want to use the Maps on their Site, with Online Gaming sites being uber awesome in my opinion.
If you want to include these maps on your online site, I'm totally cool with it, as long as you provide a link to my site, and some form of 'credit'. E.G. This map designed by... and to see more visit...
That kinda thang.
It sounds capitalistic, but honestly the revenue provided from donations is going towards supporting a specific form of Heroclix in my region. A nifty thing call CAMPAIGNS. I've posted rules for this on the Realms but they didn't take hold. In time I'll have something more comprehensive to post thanks to local community input/contributions so that ideally we can all enjoy said level of play.... trust me CAMPAIGNS ROCK!!!
If I'm sparking some Campaign interest....I'll post it soon enough

how does the urban warefare map work? if i were to download it and print it out how big would it be?
like if i asked Kinkos to print it what do i tell them?
If you print the Oversized Urban Warzone map it would be 48" x 96".
If you chose to print the 'Bottom' or 'Top' versions of the Urban Warzone you'd be printing at 48" x 72".
For most printers the width of printable area is the concern, not the length. So if they can print fully to 48" width, you'd be good to go.
If they can't print at 48", you can always go with printing the map in quarter sections of 24" x 36".
Conveniently, I've already included the quartered 24" x 36" versions of Urban Warzone on the website
Wow. Incredible maps. They look great on the computer and even better in person. Amazing, you have some serious talent. If NECA is paying attention they should bring you in as a contrator or something. Way better than anything WK ever had.
Maps we have played so far: Asiatic, Meso-American, and about the bottom 1/3 of the Urban battle zone. That is what we played on last night.
Damn. If I could only get a small map printable to standard printer mode I'd be happy. These look amazing. Has anybody tried the guy that prints maps on the realms for $17 with these maps?
So, there's no way to print these up on a standard printer is there?
There is a way, but it will require a fair chunk of work on your end, and by the time you finish, you'd wished you'd just gotten someone to print it for you.
If you have Adobe Acrobat PRO (not just the reader) you can use the Crop Tool to crop the files into whatever printable size you like, piece by piece. Then you get to use scotch tape.
Some ppl can print Letter, Legal, Tabloid or slightly larger, so I'm not going to create specifically cropped versions of each file... that might just kill me
I used to do the scotch tape thing, and it might be worthwhile if you have the time and want to make sure the maps are to your liking playability-wise before you invest in printing.
With an almost non-existant budget for this sort of thing, I really appreciate having access to these maps. For the time being I've begun printing them on some cardstock I had lying around and tape the whole thing together. Effective, but not very professional. What is the going rate to print a poster at Kinko's/Office Depot/etc., anyway?
My thanks for these very generous (and superbly designed) gifts to everyone!
printed and laminated at a place called alphagraphics, should be picking them up on wednesday. have to say, printed professionally and on a high gloss paper, they are AMAZING. i'm laminating them back to back, and i can't wait to play on these. once i've paid to collect them all on physical paper, i'll support you.
