We're quickly approaching the the new dawn of HeroClix with the launch of HoT ... and I'm interested in hearing any/all suggestion on how to make HCRealms/RealmWorx better moving forward. I plan on rededicating my time towards RealmWorx in an effort to make it the best gaming community on the Internet ... in time for our 10 Year Anniversary next year (November 2010).

So please leave your suggestion in this thread; and I'll make a to-do list from it and get roll'n. Thanks!

1. For new members (30 days), put a notice up to showcase the site tools so they don't both veteran members will questions
2. Create a "favorites" feature in the Units section
3. Create mobile version of the HCRealms site

1. Reduced Post/PM spam time to 15 seconds (down from 30 seconds)

To be the first one to post a suggestion how bout this;
A permanent link like Monday Maps or the Donate button that says like "Welcome to the 'Realms" and has some how to stuff. so new people can figure out the Units section, forums, and things like that? this way we avoid those Forums made by new Realmsers asking these questions. it could also have links to the Trading Rules Forum, the rules for making a post etc. Just a thought to make the Realms more new guy friendly. you never know, the new set could have plenty of new players coming along.

One thing I wouldn't mind seeing in the units section:

On ESPN fantasy sports, when you click on a guy name, a little mini-browser opens up with the guy's stats and news about what is going on with him. I think the same thing could be done in the units section to help in team building. It's a little annoying when trying to make a ketword theme team and you have to scroll up and down the long list of names to get back to the stats window. That way you can keep the search side up to help you locating the pieces you want to fill out your team without having to refresh the window each time.

Keep everything up to date. You guys were slow about that after the crash.

A dial generator in the Units section that outputs BBCode for posting.

I second the backdoor suggestion.

I really like the banner with Thor's Chariot. I don't know how much progamming goes into doing that but i would like to see more added to it like the Warrior's Three in the middle or something like that. And agian i dont know how much time it cost but i think it would be cool to have a banner represent the current or upcoming set.

Units Section:

When searching for a character in the Units section, e.g. "Iron Man", it should also bring up the LE's and Uniques, etc. such as Tony Stark, Tony Stark, L.M.D., Anthony Stark. Apply this across the board, so if someone does a search for "Peter Parker" LE, it also brings up all Spider-Man figs.

Agreed. Quebbster is performing the Herculean task of acting as a one-man mod staff right now. If you're anticipating a surge in traffic after HoT hits, he's going to need some help.

How about an alert to let someone know their subscription is about to expire?

I say this a thousands of times.

Make some toll to have the power to search between all the Wants and Haves of others users, in that way when you are looking a fig you just search and know with what people you could make a deal instead of search every and each Trade thead for a figure.

This will make really sense for everybody to have up to date their haves and wants Button.

I will agree that we need more active moderators ... and we are actively looking for more people to help out. More on that later though. Keep the suggestions coming .. all good ones so far!
