The official return of HeroClix is almost upon us, and we would like to take the time to thank all of you for your support of HeroClix and give you a brief status update on some of the projects we’re working on.
HeroClix makes its official return with Marvel™ HeroClix®: Hammer of Thor, which will be releasing on November 18, 2009. If you have not done so already, make sure to preorder Hammer of Thor at your local retailer. The response to the set has been outstanding, and we would especially like to thank all of you for helping to generate excitement in the community and keeping HeroClix fans connected to each other.
We have begun to preview figures from Hammer of Thor on the WizKids Facebook page and various websites. If you have not seen the WizKids Facebook page, make sure to check it out and stay up to date with the most current HeroClix news. Also, we will soon be previewing one Hammer of Thor figure exclusively on HCRealms!
The WizKids Games website (www.wizkidsgames.com) has been reactivated for the purpose of releasing official information. The official relaunch of the new WizKids website will be happening soon.
WizKids’ next DC HeroClix set is The Brave and the Bold, which will be in hobby shops mid-March 2010. This exciting set features famous team-ups from the DC Universe, like Green Lantern/Flash or Luthor/Brainiac. The Brave and the Bold includes tons of duo figures - with some of the most dynamic sculpts we’ve ever made. Additionally, the set debuts the all-new Alter Egos, where the secret identity version of a character can swap into a special costumed version, for example Bruce Wayne becoming Batman in the middle of a battle. Stay tuned for updates!
We understand that all of you have many questions about HeroClix and WizKids, and we are interested in hearing and answering as many questions as we can in the coming months. However, we apologize for our silence, but because we are such a small team and are working extremely hard to get Hammer of Thor out, we will not be able to post answers directly into forums. In an effort to answer your questions in an official capacity, we will make larger posts either on the WizKids Facebook page or the new WizKids website that will attempt to answer your questions all at once.
Recently, several Hammer of Thor figures were stolen from our booth at a retailer convention. We asked HCRealms to help us keep the dials secret while we worked out this situation. WizKids/NECA appreciates HCRealms' help in this matter.
We are all very excited for the return of HeroClix, and would like to thank all of you again for your continuing support! Have fun opening boosters and playing with new HeroClix figures on November 18th!

Sounds great! We are all very excited about the release!
on a side note, could you please put spoiler alerts around secret identities? I was reading Batman
Thanks for the news and the confirmation of Brave and the Bold!
March sounds great to me, especially with all the prize support available with HOT!
Totally understand about the smaller crew not being able to spend time answering a lot of questions on the forums here and really looking forward to the new WK site being up!
Welcome back!!!

It's good to know that you're working on making it a success rather than burning the time feeding us early info.
We're never really going to be satisfied until the set's completely revealed, and even if you did tell us all about it ahead of time we'd only be bothering you for more Brave and the Bold info, what the name of the set after that will be, plans for a new starter, how many expansions you're planning to put out in 2010, etc., etc.
At this stage the occasional post like this is fine. Thanks for taking the time.
If anything, we need more Special Powers.
All that "Special Powers" means is that they're above and beyond the crippling limitations of the PAC. That's all. It is not and was never meant to be a matter of rarity.

Thank God for grown-ups!

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Miraclo again.

Thanks for giving us an official update on the status of HC. One issue that's been bothering me that no one seems to be talking about yet is the issue that we do not have an official Rules Arbitrator yet. I'm sure many rules questions are going to come up with the release of a new set with new figures and new powers. How is WK planning to handle rules questions? Will there be the continuation to update the Player's Guide or will there be a new format for us? I'm sure this is not being ignored, but it is a question that begs to be addressed and hopefully soon.
Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to the release date of HoT.
