Help me choose between these 2 teams.

Well, the second team is going to be more competitive, just because that 160 point Elektra is so much junk. If you swapped her out for a firing squad of 2 Blackhawks and Nick Fury you may be onto something. Two Blackhawks means AV pump and Nick is an unbelievably useful support piece.

The second team is pretty tight.

Are you limiting actions? If you're playing with 8 actions then you should probably balance big guns with some weanies that can pull their own. If you're only playing 6 pieces, your opponent will be taking EIGHT actions against that very limited dial base. You'll do better playing at least 10 pieces with an emphasis on defense in this format. As an aside, CLix wasn't designed to allow an abundance of actions by one player. You should limit this event to three actions, that way, one side isn't completely crushed before the opponent gets to reciprocate.

first off, nightwing and daredevil cant "smash" people with batons... and ur first team is awesome because of rip hunter, but sucks because of elektra. u could use nick fury or winter soldier, SHIELD BABY! also for ur second team, would a shield count as a weapon? cause cap can smash people with it! also, namor has a trident and he can smash it through skulls!! terrax as well... but i dont like him. and for a laugh, zombie giant-man can smash people with blank panther's eaten body! i would laugh... oh and green scar! man there are ALOT better options out there...

as for a random BFC, Extraordinary day could always swing things around, i use it constantly!!

If you take out Elektra off the first team, you could almost field both Winter Soldier and Nick Fury. Maybe drop a card and gain a ton of fun with these two.

I understand what you guys are all saying about Elektra. She is on the team because I have never played her and have always wanted to. So why not now.

As for actions we general cut the them half. 800 pt = 4 actions.

As for Nightwing and Daredevil. Have you ever been hit in the head with a nightstick? If not go to the closet pull out a broom and smack it over your head and get back to me.

there is a difference between hurt and smash! thor's hammer SMASH! steel's hammer SMASH! nightwing's baton clunk! and i think i know why... they dont have super strength, so nothing they do can smash!

Any team built around guns ... just screams for Winter Soldier.

A couple of other figures I use on my guns teams.
Maverick - I use multiple as generic enhanced soliders.
Crossbones - I use multiple as generic enhanced soliders with the added benifit of being able to copy a TA like Mystics if I use them with the mystic Doom or ultimates if I use black widow.
Black Widow - Ultimates and shes perfect to use with multiple crossbones for her TA
Fantomex - I love his sculpt with dual handguns




For second team .. change the theme to Medieval so that it opens up a few more figures you can use. There are more but these are the ones that I own and have used for a medieval themed team.

Well I played the 'Rifle Squad' team tonight. Smudge played his animal team he posted earlier and Lonewolfben a mish mash.

Well my team kicked pretty good butt. It was a very diverse team hard to say who my MVP was. The General put a beat down on Namor, Attuma and Sandman. Bishop handled Mr. Mullah & Brain, Gnort, Man Bat, Grodd LE and Beast. Rip was awsome with his PC/OW power, I had outsmart on him and held off 3 outwit attempts. After he got hit the perplex with PC was big time. Not to mention the R E Co. Medic who healed up Bishop once and The General once.

Lost just one piece and that was Elektra but it wasn't her falt. I put her in a bad spot. I didn't really get to use but I will try again sometime.

I didn't want to play Winter Soldier. I have played him quite a few times. I like to try different figs.
