Whats the best medic in Marvel?
So, in your opinion, what's the best medic in Marvel? Just wondering....

Absolutely what Tsannik said.

Of the regular figs, though, I'd have to say the E AIM Medic. Only 2 clicks of Support, but at attack 8 and 7. For the same cost as a V SHIELD or Hydra Medic too.

Any medic is good, and they all fit a place. SHIELD Medics are great with any flying RCEers or RSer. I have found, though, that the only Hydra Medic I use now that the AIM Medics are out is the Rookie, because I have a real tendency to leave 13 points left for a Medic....

But that's just me

E AIM Medic. Scientist Supreme's non-faltering attack stat isn't worth the cost of pointless Incapacitate and Energy Shield; in the case of the latter, a medic shouldn't be in the firing line anyway.

I'd pay the extra 5 points for a constant 8 AV even if there weren't other powers too.

You're right, A medic shouldn't be put in line of fire, but it's funny how an opponent might disagree.

Best medic in Marvel is still V Aim though, if only because it's easier to get ahold of and you can play more than one (though I don't). It's almost as good as V checkmate inDC
This is What I Want: Nextwave ATA: 100 pts. may use all Team Abilities as long as no characters without the Nextwave keyword are on your force.

I know I'm gonna pay for saying this. :D

The best medic is.....no medic. Personally, I haven't used one yet, (or any figure that can heal, besides regen.) and I've had no problems winning games.

I guess it's different strokes for different folks.

I don't play them on every team, but I do play them when I have the points to spare.

The reason I think E AIM is better is because that 3rd click of support the V AIM Medic gets is only with a 5 attack, which really isn't very good.

I have to agree with CyberVenom. Medics are an easy target most of the time and there is the possibility that the defense of the targeted figure is too high. Basically, they're "cannon-fodder."

I’ll usually try to squeeze a Medic in. There aren’t that many better choices for a measly 16-17 points.

And for best – V Aim Medic or Scientist Supreme. I will never again underestimate healing with even a 5 attack, because that can still make or break a game for you. If you can fit the extra point in under the limit, he’s a good buy. The Scientist Supreme is another great one – those clicks of Incapacitate can do a lot to shut down an adjacent melee bruiser while you arrange for taxi support. If you’re disregarding those powers because they do nothing for your offense, you’re not looking at him properly. They’re meant to assist with your defense, not your offense. Plus, with three clicks of 8 attack, it means you can push him far more than you would with any other medic and not have to worry about losing effectiveness if you fail.

Even if you don't use medics, it still a good idea to include one on your team. Basically, use them as bait. Most players will do anything to take a medic out and will put themselves in vulnerable situations. I've had some players send their Doctor Octopus beeline towards my medic at the start of the game and needless to say, Octopus got his butt whipped.

I'm not quite sure why one would argue that E AIM Medic is better somehow than V AIM Medic. V AIM Medic only costs 1 point more (17 vs 16), and for that one point, you get a higher defense *and* an extra click of support (E gets support with 8, 7; V gets support with 8, 7, 6).

Sure, if you *really* need the extra point to make your team work, E is almost as good as V, but if you can use the V Medic, use the V Medic. If she cost, like, 3 or 4 points more than the E version, then there might be an argument to be made, but for 1 point? V is totally better.
