Yep, that's about right because I recall Starro Attacks for the fall session of 2007.

Then we had Secret Invasion and Arkham Asylum for the first half of 2008 before WK blew up.

Then we're here with HoT!!!

Nice I am all for Comic Accurate teams.

And for some teams it is even a huge surprise when I can get a Keyword team out of it as well.

In the container I take with me to play games I have a constant 1000 point team of all Flash Rogues which I can break down into smaller teams if I wish. And I have my favorite team of all time, I also carry a 600 point Invaders team. Both teams are comic accurate and I get a theme team out of them as well.

Also let me say I reaaly like some of the other teams you have all come up with. I may have to borrow your ideas and run some of those teams. Very Nice indeed.

I have been dying to run an Inhumans team based on the excellent Jenkins and Lee maxi-series. Good luck tonight!

Oh the Inhumans wiped map. It helped that my pal was running Surtur and Fire Demons, all those 0-ranged monsters had no chance against Black Bolt and the multitude of Chargers I had.

However, the Infinity Watch had a good scare. My pal ran a nasty SHIELD TEAM:

To counter his range-heavy team, I went indoors on the Realmworx HQ map. Thank god as the multitudes of walls and hindering slowed his team down enough for me to constantly pump up Gamora's DV to 20 and have her Charge like nuts with Swingline all over the map. I went after Winter Soldier first with Pip having LOF to the adjacent square and finishing him off with a HO. I had also pushed Moonie like crazy to get onto TK and hurled Drax into Cap's grill and OHKO'd him. The rest was just jostling for position and protecting Gamora because she was just cleaning up like nuts. The height of the game came when I sent Adam on a kamikaze run to hold down Fury, Widow, and Iron Man, all pretty much on top clicks but between the tying them up and his Regen, he kept them down for 4 full turns while Gamora/Drax cleaned house. Eventually, it came down to Iron Man vs. Gamora with which her late dial high defense saved her bacon until she hit the 7 she needed to finish Stark. Great game there!

I'll come up with a few more teams soon!

Though I hate Hank Pym as character in all of his incarnations..the game needs him as Goliath. His FF & SI Yellowjacket versions are not accurate, and I believe his Avengers Giant-Man version is a bit too weak for him IMHO. Thoughts?

BTW: As I continue my reading of Essential Avengers, I am on Vol.2 and have just read the first issue where Hank takes on the Goliath identity and the Avengers go to save Wasp from the Collector and the Beetle. The team:

I got stomped by an 80's Avengers team with Thunderbolts, then proceeded to stomp a Satellite-Era JLA team.

I don't play themes exclusively, but when I do, I like to have a lineup that actualy appeared on a team at the same time. One of my favorites was running the Anevgers that had first fought the Sentinels at the Clix for a Cure event last year.

I often run a JLoA team built around Green Lantern as a taxi and Ray Palmer/Atom for Brilliant Tactician. Depending on points:

Starro Flash
OR Carter Hall
CJ The Atom or OR Ray Palmer + Brillian Tactician
CD Elongated Man
Starro Green Arrow
JL Batman

I don't think Jessica Jones was there was she? Well I guess she was there when she was planning with them. You could also use Wiccan arguably, since Strange goes to see him while he's searching too. We need Brother Voodoo and Damien Hellstrom. Also if you need to make up space you can run a cheaper Doctor Strange, since he did lose the eye and I don't believe he could use it since he wasn't the sorcerer supreme. I don't know about Pounce on Mockingbird either, I hate to forcibly go off that 1st click.

I think the Avengers one is fine. I mean he's just Giant Man, he's not a world beater or anything. Those 3 Genius clicks in the middle are kinda sucky, but to me, that better portrays the character because lets face it, he's kinda sucky in general in the comics too.
