I would agree, the WoS Wolverine is very comic book accurate. I was actually talking about this at work today.

The U-Foes have some very awesome tie-up figures. Sounds like they were pretty rounded out!

I can't wait to play both X-Factor, and the U-Foes.
I won with X-Force, with Wolfsbane and Wolvie being my last two standing. Wolfsbane had to be close to her last click though. It was a good game for sure. I had some solid rolls. But between the X-Men TA and Wolvie's Trait, he never got past his 3rd click and finished the game on click two. Just an amazing piece. He is the ultimate battery.

Oh, and Wolfsbane proved to be unworthy of Mjolnir.

I don't mind positioning, but sometimes the game gets boring and frustrating when you spend time jockeying for position, so I start getting aggressive. This wasn't the case though last night. We did a lot of positining, but between SP and Traits we had misses early on.

And X-Ray is just so damn hard to take out with that Trait.

If Feats are allowed, slap Shellhead on Ironclad. It rounds out the team pretty well and actually allows you to push him a bit (of course one Pyschic Blast destroys that idea). Still, I played them once against Black Suit Spidey, Scarlet Spidey, Black Cat and Firestar. They did alright...except that my dice ultimately needed to be taken out and shot.

kingskid had contingency plan on them. Their AV's are kind of low so that helped him quite a bot, but I was making Super Senses and Shape Change rolls...probably the best I'd ever had in 8 years of play Clix.

Please help contribute to this thread:

http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=290425

There are many more figures, who I am certain need Keyword fixes and it would be good if we could contribute to longinux's efforts.

Also, could we generate a list of Feats and apply them in a comic-accurate manner.

For example, I not only like using In Contact With Oracle for Bat/JLA teams, but I also like using it for X-Men-based teams to show the telepaths maintaining the teams and mentally providing directions given by the team leaders.

This is a team from my favorite comic run of all time. I even have a custom Dazzler, with her blue and yellow suit that I commissioned from machineman, to make it work.

i took the other Dazzler sculpt from Ultimates (dark hair with guitar) painted the outfit blue and yellow like the old uniform and put it on the newer clix. with 'armor piercing' and 'not so special' her energy explosion is quite underrated.

Here's the pic of my Dazzler:

I also had him make Jason Wyngarde:

I tried this out in a 500 point Modern Age event:

HoT Captain America: 72 pts.
HoT Thor: 226 pts.
WoS Iron Man: 202 pts.

I lost badly, but mainly because of inexperience (I don't have a lot of competitive play under my belt). I think the team is average, they can compete but will have trouble against min-max teams.

In the first round, I faced off against a Cosmic Spider-Man (I'm not familiar with the map, it could've been the Danger Room one). In round two, I faced off against a non-thematic team utilizing Captain Marvel, Marvel Girl, and Nightcrawler, with several perplexers. I got the first hit on Nightcrawler and took him off his HSS clicks BUT I carelessly waltzed Iron Man within the range of a Shield Disruptor (I was distracted by a phone call ). In the third round, I faced off against WoS Iron Man, SI Dr. Strange, WoS Spider-Man (r/b costume) and SI Iron Fist. I made a bad call, devoting all my attacks on WoS Spider-Man (all three missed) when Thor had a clear shot at Dr. Strange. That poor play hit me hard when Iron Fist was able to not only tie Thor up, but he was able to avoid two consecutive attacks due to his Super Senses. It was all downhill from there...

It isn't 100% comic accurate, as all of these members weren't active at all times together... but it's close enough for me. I also don't get the West Coast Avengers keyword, because WizKids screwed up on the Silver Centurion's keyword. In this armor, he never was an Avenger, only a West Coast Avenger. But keywords don't matter to me.

...with Running Start on Tigra makes it an even 400, and is completely accurate except in keywords; E Tigra has the West Coast Avengers keyword, but makes this team 401 points. And of course, Iron Man.

Again, a case where theme bonuses are denied to a comic-accurate team. Yeah, I'm beating that dead horse again. It's not feeling any pain, it can take it.

Oh, and speaking of which that'd be Rhodey in the silver Iron Man suit, since Tony was on a heavy bender at the time.

My team last night was the new Uncanny X-Force:

WOS Deadpool + Protected and Auto Regen
WOS Wolverine + Protected and Contingency Plan
AW Vet Psylocke + Stunning Blow
M&M Archangel
U Fantomex

It was a 600 point tournament, so I had to play with the Vet armor wars psylocke to help cover the point spread (plus I like her since she's awesome). I also had to add 50 points in feats (Something I prefer not to do, but was once again necessary to cover the points). The team was suprisingly effective and even took down a team that had 6 hypersonic speed characters on it! I ultimately lost (Cosmic Spider-man...) but it was a ton of fun. I managed to destroy two Nightcrawlers in one night, so it wasn't a total loss.
