I've had a sudden yen to build a Dark Xmen team (although I know little about them). Feel free to tear it apart or suggest your own.

Dark Xmen complete roster from wiki -
Emma Frost, Namor, Mimic, Dark Beast, Nate Grey, Cloak, Dagger, Mystique (playing Xavier), Daken (Wolverine) and Weapon Omega (Rogue). As with all the Dark teams, Norman Osborne is tangential.

This seems fun. It's certainly mobile and aggressive, with both bruisers pushing as hard as the situation demands, a stealthy Psychic Blast sniper and a mini Charge/BCF/Outwit combo. But when it gets into trouble (and it will with three team members relying heavily on average defense numbers and Super Senses), it has a good chance of crumbling fast.

Wiki is wrong on a few. Nate Grey isn't on the team- he's their opponent in the current mini. Weapon Omega isn't Rogue at all... he's vindicator I believe.

Oh, and you're using the wrong Mimic. You've got MU Mimic there, he's from Exiles. The MM Unique Mimic is the 616 version. Finally, I usually don't do replacements, but the 94 pt. sinister Wolverine works really well for Daken, though he isn't perfect (Daken has pheromone powers that aren't represented in that clix).

Gaurdian is Michael Pointer. He was brought in during the Omega Flight mini. He killed the original Alpha Flight as the Collective. He is not James Hudson, the original Gaurdian. Vindicator was James Hudson's wife who took over when he was dead (the first time) in the '80s.

Leaves you 100 points for Feats, though not a "Theme" team.. most judges should allow it.. there are of course some switches.. Exiles Mimic instead of the U.. Hudson instead of Pointer, cause there isn't one made, Charles for Mystique..

Does Jean represent somebody or did they bring her back again? I stopped paying attention after Utopia X endend.

Mystique changed to her after Xavier popped back up with the X-Men..

I had no clue Daken had pheromone powers. Are they strong enough to be treated as Mind Control, Incapacitate or Shape Change?

Even though I read Omega Flight, I still don't understand Pointer well. Wiki says he absorbs powers, but you say he isn't a rogue analog... so does he essentially just channel them into classic flying blaster tricks, perhaps supplemented by the suit?

Since I had forgotten entirely about the original Mimic and had the lineup wrong anyway, how about this for a 300 pt version?

Daken could DEFFINATELY be given Incap.. and an arguement could even be made for Mind Control. He has made H.A.M.M.E.R. agents betray Osborn..

Pointer, from what I understand is kind of a combination of Rogue and the classic flying blaster type. He CAN absorb the powers of Mutants, as he' been shown to use claws and other stuff.. but mostly he just absorbs POWER from mutants. the more powerful the mutant, the more power he absorbs, making his own blasts more powerful..

at 300 points.. the Wolverine and Dark Beast clix are murder on wheels.. combined with Ravens per plex.. oof.

Ok here is a better explanation of Omega
First the collective is the power of every mutant who was depowered in HOM. Second he does not absorb powers like Rogue but rather needs a machine to drain

But in recent issues he has also absorbed powers just by being around people. The Machine was a means to "control" it. Weapon Omega told him it was safe.. Osborn said it was being used to "humanely" depower dangerous mutants.

But in Dark X-Men #1 he absorbed some of Nate Greys power without a machine..
