Not as bad as first thought- With Jimmy Woo using Contingency Plan, and Marvel Boy using Stunning Blow.... His attack can get up to 12. He then uses his 12 attack to Mind Control a target. Following this, via his SP, he uses his 12 attack to Incap the same target, AND deal 3 damage! If Jimmy is beside him, he either has a 9 range for free, OR deals 4 damage with an action from Jimmy. Taken on his own merits, Marvel Boy is not great. Taken with Stunning Blow, he's not bad. In conjunction with his boss and Con Plan, he's great! (That being said, a 102 point character now takes 102 + 10 + 46 + 12 = 170 points... he'd better be great! )

Marvel??
To be more comic accurate, this piece should have the ability to carry more than one Agent of Atlas. It would be like he's flying his Lost Suacer.

He can't be a veteran because he should then be The Uranian and have far more powers. Looking at this version he is probably experienced but really isn't that great at 102 points

that opening 3 damage will be important to AoA theme teams- they don't have high natural damages overall. Which is a shame since you are really going to want to be using mind-control as often as possible to get value out of this piece. gets the standard AoA dial strength, which is nice, but the more I look at them the less likely I am to play the Agents of Atlas

Pretty expensive for what he does, but still fun. The sp running through his entire dial is pretty nice and can be useful. Mc then incap could really hurt the other team, but you have to hit with three different attacks to get the full benefit of this power. Not the best of odds.
Crom!!!

He should be about 15 to 20 points cheaper to be worth it. If he had an ability to ignore feedback damage as part of his special power that would have worked too.

I'm sorry, but powers like these simply do not work with 9 attacks.

I was really excited to see the AoA being included in this set. But this
is just...disapointing. 102 pts? Definately not worth it.

On a side note, I was kind of hoping they'd include 3D Man...

This is just sad. I mean, I miss the heck out of the glory days of Cosmic Justice when Saturn Girl was a force to be reckoned with, with her huge range, huge AV Mind Control (that at the time still gave an action token)... but Marvel Boy here doesn't bring that back. For 30 points more he gains damage value but gives up Wildcard status (and ANY team abilities at all), lowers the range and AV... it's just not worth it. Having to make 2 separate attack rolls on the same target, both stemming from Marvel Boy's poor-for-the-points 9AV is just totally unreliable. On top of being overcosted and unreliable, he's FRAGILE! He's hard to hit at range on his top click but his range isn't phenomenal like Saturn Girl's was and he will be torn apart up close. ANd for clicks 4-7 he doesn't even have that! This guy is just a TERRIBLE investment. If you must use him at all, go absolutely nuts granting him ICWO to boost his AV, Stunning Blow to see if he can get MC, Incap AND damage onto his target and Inside Information so he can at least be a reasonably imposing threat against scientists. But that's just crazy.

Put this sculpt on a GL base and you have a rookie Quasar.
Think I'll whip one up soon...

This is one of the ugliest figures ever produced and not a very good way to spend 100pts.

horrible
Yes, agreed on all the bad feedback here. He should at least have outwit or perplex. Drop the incap. and give him TK to represent the saucer, or at least a group carry ability. Why does Namora have it while he doesn't? Unplayable.

Need the URANANIAN please. Outwit, SP should be same as green lantern TA for AoA keywords, and meteor smasher ranged attack from ship!
