So the scenario this week is a "New Fantastic Four" scenario. 4 figures, 400 pts, marvel only. And the 4 figures will have the F4 team ability, losing any others they may already have.

So, taking the theme literally:

SI Spider-man 50 + 5 lunge
FF Ghost Rider 85
Ult Hulk 182 + 5 lunge =399


I was also thinking a frightful four variant:

Any other bright ideas? Suggestions? and Min/Max ideas? no theme is required and there is no bonus so any help is appreciated

If they actually GAIN the F4 team ability, I would run this team:

Ant-Man would give my team a 20 D all the way around. Hyperion is an HSS Brick. Aleta TK's him out and can throw up barriers. Winter Soldier can clean up after Hyperion.

Well, I don't have the Ant-Man LE to abuse the 20 Def... I guess the living laser has a 19 to share...

But just bringing that up reminds me that I should find figures who can hit those high numbers. Kangs would be good, as well as the Hyperion and Winter Soldier you mentioned.

I had someone mention the Warriors 3 and some 4th figure, but I don't have much HoT yet, owning only Volstagg.

AVs are too low on that team. I like it, but you will have trouble against figures like Living Laser.

hmm, i like winter soldier, but maybe inside info would be better on someone like SI spidey? he has both the avengers and F4 keyword, which would help if someone brought that LE antman you mentioned, or stuck with some version of Invisible woman to abuse the defense.

Very good team! I'd probably switch the cards a little to make it nastier:

Protected on Silver surfer.
Contingency plan on Storm.
Lunge on Spidey and Black Panther.

This will leave you with 7 points for a Loner and infiltrate on storm.

Coordination won't help your team at all since noone shares Storm's ta. If spidey and BP deal with any outwit issues, theres no need for Fortitude. Contingency plan on Storm keeps the team stats high.

If you have the Alt FF TA this is just a really nasty team to run. Its still a nasty team with the other ability. High Def. Ability to get thru stealth on both cap and stardust. Help with Range, or Attack Value with Con.Plan. Have Stardust carry Gamora around and your opponent will fear basing and staying away from you. SI Spiderman great harasser piece and if he is borrowing a 19defense, watch out for him.

I've worked on the Futuristic New Fantasitic Four team listed above perivously in home games but the problem is two-fold:

> I use the U FF Wolverine @ 71 pts instead and that only helps bring the team to 346 so unless the feat cap has been thrown out the window, it doesn't really work

> Plus you really need another fig or two - someone with outwit on their top click and some TK to help the team's mobility

It'd be fun though - and wicked mean to play

I would suggest this combo as it still works with Marvel only and is stacked with high attack and defense values both:

Professor Xavier - MM - 131 pts
Gambit - 90 pts
Wolverine - 71 pts

Then take your pick of X-Men TK pieces based on who you have and your feat preferences. I would go with:

Polaris - 76 pts

This leaves enough points to put Compel on the Prof, Lunge on Gambit and Auto Regen on Wolverine

You are wrong about that. In the OP, it states that all characters gain the F4 TA.
