I liked Annihilation and all the prequel tie-ins. And I liked The Thanos Imperative. It's like watching a full season or two of an epic TV show, so I recommend starting with Annihilation and following it all until Thanos Imperative.

I am. Hmm, hindi pa tapos so pwede pang magbago opinion ko pero sa ngayon...

You need to get a couple of tie-ins to get the complete experience. I don't know if the Worthy will make appearances in the main series, but most of their battles happen in the tie-ins. So far, the tie-ins to read are Invincible Iron Man (Iron Man vs Grey Gargoyle in France, best battle that I've seen so far), Journey Into Mystery (originally Thor, where you'll get additional info about the Serpent), Thunderbolts and Uncanny X-Men (to see them fail to stop the unstoppable Juggernaut - at least guaranteed na fail yung Thunderbolts - umabot sa X-Men si Juggs eh), Avengers Academy (the academy teachers vs Absorbing Man and Titania).

Yes I'm reading it. Too many tie-ins. Some good. Some bad. I like the worthy's BUT sabi nga ni Al yung Worthy's are NOT featured in the main story.

I keep thinking, if another SET of Hammers will fall from the sky to BATTLE the worthy's. Hopefully, the Hammer of the WORTHY gets to be made 3D objects in Heroclix

Eto description ng mga nabasa ko na tie ins:

Fear Itself: Book of the Skull #1
- explains how Sin found out about the Skadi hammer
Fear Itself: Deadpool #1-3
- if you don't like Deadpool, skip
Fear Itself: The Deep #1-4 [41]
- Reformed Defenders vs Attuma
Fear Itself: FF #1
- Thing vs Invisible Woman; background on why the hammer has such an influence on Thing
Fear Itself: Fearsome Four #1-4
- SKIP!
Fear Itself: The Home Front #1-7
- Fear Itself side story, main focus is on Speedball. Adds to the Fear Itself experience to see how the people are handling the crisis.
Fear Itself: Sin's Past #1
- Background on Sin and reprinted Captain America issues on Sin
Fear Itself: Spider-Man #1-3
- What Spider-Man was doing during Fear Itself prior to joining up with the rest of the Avengers. Can be skipped. Spider-Man vs Thing in the 3rd issue.
Fear Itself: Youth in Revolt #1-6
- Pinapakita yung ginagawa ng Initiative heroes. Can be skipped
Fear Itself: Wolverine #1-3
- So far, it's Wolvie vs some terrorists taking advantage of the chaos. Can be skipped.
Alpha Flight #1-8
- Alpha Flight vs Attuma in 1st issue. 2nd issue is Alpha Flight-centric. Can be skipped
Avengers Academy #15-19
- Shows the students helping in Washington against Sin's forces. Pym/Quicksilver/Justice vs Absorbing Man/Titania in 2nd issue
Avengers #13-17/New Avengers #14-16
- Nalalabuan na ako sa style ni Bendis. Red Hulk vs Thing in New York, Ms. Marvel/Spider-Woman/Noh-varr/Hawkeye vs Hulk in South America.
Black Panther: The Man Without Fear #521-523
- If you're not a Black Panther fan, can be skipped.
Ghost Rider #1-??
- 1st issue shows an encounter between Sin and the new Ghost Rider. Looks like it can be skipped.
Heroes for Hire #9-11
- Paladin/Gargoyle vs Thing in New York, Elektra/Shroud helping out at the Raft.
Herc #3-6
- If you're not a Hercules fan, can be skipped.
Iron Man 2.0 #5-7
- Starts with War Machine and Prince of Orphans in Washington, then they join up with the Immortal Weapons in China where Absorbing Man's hammer landed. Immortal Weapons/War Machine vs Absorbing Man/Titania. Hate to admit it, but this can be skipped.
The Invincible Iron Man #503-508
- Iron Man vs Grey Gargoyle in Paris, then Iron Man goes to Asgard to help build weapons against the Worthy. Must read.
Journey into Mystery #622-628
- What the Asgardians are doing after leaving Earth. Background on the Serpent/All-Father. Very little action but I think it adds to the experience. Plus, Young Loki is fascinating.
Secret Avengers #13-15
- Spotlight issues on some of the Secret Avengers. First 2 issues can be skipped.
Thunderbolts #158-163
- The Thunderbolts deal with the fallout at the Raft, then they try to stop the Juggernaut somewhere in the midwest. Read this.
Uncanny X-Men #540-543
-The X-Men try to stop the Juggernaut in San Francisco. If you want to see Cyclops giving orders to Magneto, read this. Magneto vs Juggernaut sounds like quite a battle, but so far I'm underwhelmed.

I liked Fear Itself: The Deep. Namor got his butt kicked by Attuma really good. I was disappointed with the Spidey Tie-In when he battles the Angrir (Thing-Worthy) to a draw. Common, Spidey drew with an Amped-Up Thing.

Maybe the Thing was holding back? I'm planning on re-reading everything once all the titles have been released. But Spider-man should've lost, if they weren't in a hospital...

^^ It's okay. Prelude has nothing to do about Schism (I think). Schism is starting out as a political story. Resurgence of the Hellfire Club.

Uncanny X-Force is consistently good. The team is currently trapped in the Age of Apocalypse universe, so if you're an AoA fan, pick this up.

Amazing Spider-Man is also good. 2 issues monthly, Spider-Island is coming up (the Jackal is giving civilians spider powers).

JLA #1 will come out in September. Under Geoff Johns and Jim Lee - enough reason for me to at least give the first run a try.

I like Avengers Academy the best out of the 4 monthly Avengers titles, but it's lacking star power.

I discovered a non-Marvel, non-DC, non-superhero monthly title that I can't stop reading. It's Morning Glories, published by Image. Read it!
