Had one guy go over 6pts or more once against me. I didnt notice till i added it up in my head after the match. Those bystanders he used with that last few points made the game different for me.
Later he played in a tourney were he lost in last match. Through a fit and figured out that the way the swiss rounds were decided wasnt fair. The judge was a store owner who didnt know much about clix. So we had to play another rd. The sad thing was the final prize had been given to a friend of mine. (galactus) So we played the other rd. His friend spanked my friend and my friend was jacked of his galactus.
Not me, but my brother was once DQed for being over his point cost by about 60 points.
It was the Supernova marquee. He thought his Hyperion was 117... nope, it was 177. He misread the base (which, to be fair, was a little blurry). No one caught this until about half way through the second round.
I once won a tournament but refused the prize when I realized I'd had an illegal element on my team (can't remember what, though). That's the closest I've come to disqualification.

I once didn't win an event because everyone else got DQ'ed. I was the only one with a legal team for the event, so the judge cancelled the event and had us play for fun(which he didn't tell me until the game was over and i found out that "You lose, you get nothing, good day sir."

I was dq from the supernova marquee after winning it,I pulled a Superskrull out of a sealed box the points said 105 on the dial but was actually 150 nobody caught it until after I won the tourney. Then the judge at the time after awarding me the prize took it back from me and gave it to someone else. How was I supposed to know there was a misprint on the figure base?
But... I've dominated people so bad that I've had many people throw their dice, throw their clicks, break their clicks, never come back to the venue, or just outright give up on the game.
On occasion I like to randomly quote people and type non-sensical gibberish afterwards.

At the Legacy pre-release, I had made it to the constructed portion of the event which was the 1st time retirement had been enforced. Universe had just been released and any characters in *that set* were still legal, so you had a situation where only a portion of IC and XP were retired.
I built one of the 1st GL Tank teams and had V Green Lantern + Trick Shot, 3 R Hand Ninjas (11pts), 3 V U-Men + Jane Foster. At the time I mistakenly assumed that if they had been reprinted in Universe that the LE version was still legal too...
I won the 1st round handily and was setting up for round 2 when my opponent pointed out the Jane Foster. he explained that the X-Plosion LE's weren't legal and suggested that I should switch out my figure (I hadn't used it at all in round 1).
The presiding judge came over and DQ'd me for an illegal build, but my potential opponent was standing up for me and asking the judge if I could just swap out for a regular medic. He was a stand up guy who really felt bad that I was going to be DQ'd. I took my lumps and stepped out of the tournament.
As a side note... the Judge who ran the tournament was later removed as a Judge for shady goings on. Even in that tournament, he gave the gentleman who was in 1st place after round 1 the bye for round 2. When I asked him later how did someone who wiped out his opponent in round 1 and not lose any figures get the bye for round 2 he rambled on about proper mathematics for various tournament parings for literally 10 minutes.
Ironically the guy who magically received the bye for being in 1st place used to use his 'bye ticket' (which was awarded for winning a previous local qualifier tournament) at multiple venues.
In this case he used his 'bye ticket' to avoid the 1st sealed booster portion of the tournament and go right into the constructed portion. He lost that night, then drove about 300+ miles north to use his 'bye ticket' to avoid the sealed booster portion of another venues pre-release. He went up against a friend in the final round and won.
The ultimate irony was this guy used to display his regional and Wizard World wins in his signature, but at least 2 of them were ill-gotten because he used his regional bye at least 2 separate tournaments after losing the 1st.
I'm sure I overbuilt once and took myself out of competition at an in venue game. It's no big deal. You feel dumb for a minute, kick yourself in the ###, then remember to check the numbers better from then on.
I once brought three rabbits to a tournament. Before rolling for map on my first match I took one of the rabbits and smashed it in my own hands. I was hoping to use the violence to psyche out my opponent. I got DQ'd and was charged with animal cruelty. I should have used bugs instead. People don't like bugs the way they do bunnies.

I think you were looking for the Killer Bunnies tourney. You could have just played Bayea Aliens on the judge kept playing.
I'm avatar-changing ignorant. So here's my Ghost Rider 2099 sig. Happy trails, zero.
Another time, a crooked judge in Cleveland had a event for armed forces day where your team had to be shield, hydra, p.d., skrull, and something else. Well one guy played a team with the Xplosion LE Elektra and Xplosion Hand Ninja's. His opponent played the same Elektra and Universe Hand Ninja's. They met in finals and before the game started the guy with the Universe Ninja's went running to his friend the judge and had the guy DQ'ed because Elektra was arch-enemy to the Xplosion Ninja's, but not the Universe because they didn't have the arch-enemy dial. He bragged how he knew the guy had a illegal team the whole time(even when the guy was building his team) and was waiting for when he had to face him for the easy win. So the judge DQ'ed him and called him a cheater the rest of the time he was there(they played their game out for fun, during which the DQ'ed guy won). Then when it was time to hand out the LE, everyone who was up for fellowship had one and declined on taking it, except for the guy who got DQ'ed who needed one. The judge then continued to call him a cheater and say that he doesn't give LE's to cheaters for fellowship and ended up keeping it to give away at a later time. How that judge didn't get punched in the face is beyond me.

Someone should have accepted the fellowship award and handed it to him announcing aloud how asinine the DQ was in the first place and that he truly deserves this figure.
I overbuilt by three points playing a sealed tourney at the beginning of HoT. Apparently Sif is 93 points and not 90. Realized after it was over, but since I lost all three rounds didn't feel the need to say anything. I think I overbuilt once before when I first started playing, but can't remember the specifics.
I have a bad habit of using powers that are not yet on a figures dial, like picking up and using an object when the fig doesn;t actually have Super Strength yet. I've never been DQed for it and I recall it ever being a big issue, but sometimes my opponent notices it during the game or I realize it afterward, and I always feel like pooh cause I know it has to look like I was trying to do it on purpose but really I'm just a D.A.
