If I read that diagram properly, then Cable/Deadpool are being positioned on a diagonal. Just to clarify, I didn't think that peanut-based figures could do that.
Sure they can. There's nothing in the rules that says they can't. (Man, if they couldn't ever be positioned diagonally, people would complain about double bases even more than they do now. )

Someone said that at a venue I play at also, I'm not sure where people are getting this from :/

Yeah this happened to me too. I tried to show them that that was the whole point of the peanut shape that they could squeeze diagonally between characters but I guess they had never seen it before.
i'd say that it would be the square that you attacked(yeah i know there is none for CCA's but it is not that far feasible that you can say this or this square)
My post was meant as a joke, but I'll ask you how you would do the kb in this case. Say that I "targeted" C with the PW.
Obviously C would get placed in 1, but what about D? (Please provide rules to back up your stance. )
Now are Giants/colossals Knocked back? Figures like most Giants...and then what of Groot?
Normally, no, they would not be knocked back.
However, in this specific case with Nekron, the knock back is coming from Pulse wave... which ignores the combat abilities of the Giants and Colossals and, thus, they are no longer specifically protected against knock back by their combat abilities.
So a single based Giant or Colossal (like Groot) could indeed be knocked back by Nekron's PW (or anyone else's PW, if they roll doubles).
"How does [insert special power] work with the new 2013 rules?"
Most everything special power-wise, we're looking into. The PAC changes may change the way some special powers function; we're checking on them before the June release. In the meantime, ask your judge.

The closest that I could come up with is
Double based when moved must end with all its squares where it could legally move. This would make it where the tail end could be put in 1 of 5 squares.(Does not work because KB is no longer movement.)

I thought you could do better than that. Something with Fastball Special, perhaps?
Don't forget, as of the 1st of the month Nekron can PW while based
How can he PW while based he doesn't have the sharp shooter trait? I'm just wondering if I missed something in the new rules for PW wording or something.

Reason: Don't want to offend for asking a question poorly.

You did. It now explicitly says it can be used while based.

So when you say "a single based Giant or Colossal" I trust you indicate a character like the aforementioned Groot with a standard-sized base who's somehow gained the symbol will be knocked back because the knockback prevention is by virtue of combat abilities while a Sentinel— who has a Titan base (Are the 2x2s officially called that?)— would not be knocked back by virtue of the rules for its base size? Similarly, Atom Smasher (a single-based giant) would be knocked back while Devil Dinosaur & Moon Boy (a double-based giant) would not be?
