As a side note, Age of Apocalypse was over TEN years ago so I don't think anyone who is new to comic books is particularly familiar with it. It wasn't as groundbreaking as something like Dark Phoenix saga, and it's slowly slipped into obscurity.
I have to disagree here. Not only do I think it was better than the DP storyline, it's far and away my favorite storyline of all comics. I would be there front and center to get a case of AoA heroclix. I wouldn't like it very much but I think the 4 horseman would be the perfect chase figures, just make sure you make 1 per case Neca, (in case you read this, lol).

Shout it, Shout it, Shout it out loud..... I would buy alot of this if it was a normal set(Lots of cool dupes), but i would def buy a couple collectors sets if they did it that way. Make the team line ups as 7 or 8 fig collectors sets since there is a demand for them.

It's my favorite aswell. I was recently disappointed to hear that the Wolverine and the X-Men tv series had been cancelled. Age of Apocalypse was going to be the theme of the second season.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolveri...Men#Season_Two

So I wouldn't say that AoA is something Marvel is ready to close the book on. Though man do I wish that second season would have aired, that in itself would have GREATLY helped this particular cause.

EDIT: I've noticed that since posting this the linked part of the wikipedia entry has been removed, so this info would need to be found elsewhere.

Added link to a newly started poll in the first post. AoA is winning again. I'd like to see more posts here but I'm happy just seeing AoA on the front page again.

I have to say, the amount of support that the age of Apocalypse sees speaks volumes. Here we are, 15 years after the event, and it's still got a big following. In the "favorite Marvel Universe" poll, it only lost to the 616 and Ultimate universes, both of which have ongoing titles. The Age of Apocalypse needs more clix!
Not removing this line from my signature until we get Killer Moth (12/17/12).
Missing IC Remakes: Whirlwind, Constrictor, Controller, Boomerang, Blizzard, Puppet Master

I agree AoA is my favorite Marvel story ever and we need AoA heroclix. If its in a Collectors Set, maybe similar to what Watchmen is that would be cool. but if they do it as a couple sprinkled in the next few sets that would be fine too. but I would prefer a collectors set so this way the people who want them can buy them and the people who don't can pass. But yes MAKE AOA HEROCLIX!!

This is exactly where I was gonna go on this one. Perfectly worded! The AoA was one of my favorite storylines for a LONG time, and even when it was over, I kept reading X-Man (among others) for about 30 issues or so. I would definitely drop money on a collector's set! X-Man, Holocaust, Exodus, a SP-laden Blink, a cranked-up Iceman, and of course a new Apocalypse. Sign me up!
