Watchmen Collectors Set Issues
Just want to try to get an idea of the extent of the reported issues.

Please tell me about your WM 25 experience

When deciding to report a subjective problem (dial alignment) please compare the piece to an "average" piece from your collection. If the WM piece is worse than the average, please report it as a problem.

Same hold true for "sticky dials" - As we know with a little usage the dials loosen up. If your dial is crazy tight, report it as a problem.

I am very pleased with the set as a whole. The only issue I had was with the Night Owl #03 I believe. There was paint rubbed off his nose. I'm okay with it. I've ordered a second set to keep in the case as a collector's piece. The sculpts and paint jobs were that good in my opinion. If regular 60 piece sets could have this quality it'd be great.

Despite ordering from 3 different distributors, my venue has yet to receive any Watchmen sets. No word from the distributors as to a reason either.

I'll try to get a picture snapped of my armless Silk Spectre as soon as I can get my hands on somebody's digital camera or cell phone. I'm such a Luddite.

If you are in the US - your stores ordering options are

Diamond/Alliance
NECA

If these are the three you speak of, the product should be in your hands already. Please let me know where you store orders from and I will look into it.

I voted option 1: Everything Was Fine.

While I still favor the return of the "H" feature at the bottom of the dial for all figures, not just the duos, that is a design choice rather than a quality issue.

In terms of quality, I have zero to complain about with my Watchmen set.
...now, if we can just get Jimmy Olsen confirmed.

I had no issues whatsoever - even pulling them out of the case was fine as long as you held them by the base and were careful to remember that the top of the dials (since we're in the cup era) could get caught on the felt-esque surface.

Great set - thanks WizKids!

Minor grump - not much of a complaint... the defense symbol and number were faded/rubbed off on Nite Owl (003).

Okay, I borrowed my coworker's fancy-shmancy camera-phone, so here's a link to the picture:

http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/album.php?albumid=1153

I guess I could just chop the arm off of a Jocasta or something and have a custom Cyber-Spectre, but it just wouldn't be the same.

I was missing the bottom half of the dial from my Knot Top figure. In addition, other figures were not well placed for presentability, but that's a really minor point compared to the first. To elaborate, my giant Dr. Manhattan's top half of his dial was not attached to the bottom half (easily fixed), and my Nite Owl (cold weather gear) was upside down in the packaging (a really minor nitpick and not really an issue).
I cured clix cancer.
Legion Remakes Needed:
(1) Colossal Boy: Should be a flying giant (like Dragon Man)
(2) Brainiac 5: Needs an impenetrable force field
(3) Validus: Needs a correct sculpt and power level
(4)Pre-Crisis Supergirl Nuff said

I selected 'other' because I couldn't select more than one option but:

about 8 mis-aligned dial stickers (you may want to add a marker of some sort to the new bases you proposed to make it easier on the folks assembling the product)

roughly 6 were impossible to turn without clipping the tab under the dial

Ozy/ Bubastis were broken from the base

Packaging looks great, but is functionally useless for putting the figures back in. Too much of a chance to break the figures.

On the plus side:

Paint jobs were awesome

No card errors I saw (except for the misspelling of Jupiter on one card)

Opening the package they all looked great. Paint jobs look really nice. One of the dial bases was not attached, possibly popped out during shipping, not a big deal. Then we started playing, and I had to shave down 2 of my dials during the game to get them to even turn at all. Checked the others, looks like I have some more shaving down to do.

The other set that was opened in the store that night seemed fine, except for the fact that osmandius/bubastis duo figure was broken off of it's clix base entirely, looked like they didn't even bother gluing it on at all.

Great set. Loved it. Even if I didn't play Clix I would have bought it.
