I have a question regarding the Thursday (Midnight Madness) game on Dec 23rd. Is it Wenesday night or Thursday night? Thanks for clearing it up in advance.
Thursday December 23 - MIDNIGHT MADNESS ANNUAL EVENT!!!! Game set-up begins around 11-11:30 PM - first round starts at 12 Midnight!
Bring a 200 pt. team - Golden Age - with 10% feat limit. You will buy 2 boosters (whatever you want - DC 75th, WoS, anything else on the shelf). Out of the team you bring and the figures you pull - you will construct a 400 pt. team.
3 rounds - 4 actions per turn
Special rule for the evening - FOOD FOR CHARITY Re-rolls!!!!
In honor of Derek's annual Charity events - we will be doing a similar drive at the midnight event for the local food pantry.
Heres' how it will work - Bring non-perishable food goods that will be donated - canned goods, etc. You may buy a re-roll of any dice roll for one item. HOWEVER - to re-roll that same dice roll a SECOND time - it will DOUBLE to 2 food items. A 3rd re-roll of the same roll costs 4 items, etc. It will then re-set to one item when you move on to a different "roll" in the game.
Example - Smitty and Derek are vying for the win - it all comes down to a Super-sense roll. Smitty makes it - and Derek pays for a re-roll with one canned good. Smitty fails - so he pays for a re-roll of that same super-sense roll and it costs him TWO canned goods. He fails again - to re-roll would cost him FOUR canned goods. He makes it - now it is up to Derek to pay EIGHT canned goods or lose the game..You get the idea.
You may make re-rolls for you, your opponent, or that annoying guy over on the end table -- whoever you want and whenever you want.
Once again I have a variety of prizes - and EVERY player will get at least ONE prize! (Unfortunately - I have not had the time or money to get as many as in year's past - but we still have a good selection).
Prizes will include: Dr. Manhattan Colossal Figure, DC Brave & the Bold prizes - Lanterns, cards and figures, Web of Spider-man prize pack - figures and web-tokens. A few misc. LE's too.
Afterwards - we will play a battle-royale or 2 depending on how many want to play - it will cost 1 booster and 1 food good to play. Prizes for the battle royale will be Lanterns from B&tB. Same rules for Food for Re-roll apply.
For anybody who has never been to this venue before or more importantly, have never played in this event before, it is a blast. We have a great group of players and we always have fun. Don't be shy. Come on out and play!

This Thursday (1/6/11) at Graham Crackers we are playing a 600 point game with a 50% floor rule for DC 75th. For anybody who may be unfamiliar with the floor rules, it means that at least half your team has to be comprised of the DC 75th set. It can be more, but it cannot be less. Feats are allowed, but it's a 10% cap AS ALWAYS (Brian, this is directed at you)

We are playing an 800 point game. The only special rules are that NO COLOSSALS ALLOWED, and you can only play with a maximum of 8 figures. This is a Golden Age game, so feats are allowed. Cary will be absent this week, so I am the Judge.

Hey, anybody that is coming to Graham Crackers tomorrow night for the game: Does anybody have a White Lantern Flash that they could let me borrow for a week? I need him for a game that I'm playing at my brothers' venue.

I will have mine with me as I packed for both my Thursday and Friday venues. I am deciding between two 400 point teams (200 pt DC75 floor) for Friday and either going with Gotham City or the Patriotic Flash team. I will decide before game time tomorrow and let you know.
Only seems fair for the one week "loan" of One-Who-Knows a few weeks back.
We decided at last week's game that we were going to play a 500 Modern Age game this coming Thursday (1/20/2011) and after the fact a few of us got talking after several people had left and decided that we would much prefer a "Silver Age" game instead. For those that don't know, "Silver Age" is a term that has been adopted to basically say that you can play every piece from any set, but you aren't allowed feats/bfcs. It's the best of both worlds. Therefore, this week we will be playing 500 points, 5 actions, Silver age.
I will be sending some PMs out to inform everyone as best I can. If you know and talk to other players outside the venue, please tell them in case they have not seen this post!

This week at the Cracker of Graham, it is a return to a smaller point total...seriously...in the past month we have played no less than 600 point games. THEREFORE:
300 Point Golden Age is this week's stipulations. And for the love of God people, ENOUGH OF THE CHEESE!

I was in Vermont for work so I missed this week. What was the cheese that was played this time? Let me guess, week 4 of the year with Cosmic Spiderman or IMWM. I've never played Cosmic Spidey and just seeing him played by the same guy every week has made me tired of seeing him that I'm not sure if I will ever play it.
Can you provide a brief recap of the week? Who won? What did they play? Who left early after loosing one figure? Forget that last one as I probably already know the answer.
