I'm going to play a 800 golden age team at my local tournament. I need some feedback on my team.
Wizard (SN #26)
Darkseid (IO #43)
Bullseye (SN #79)
Joker (IO #38)
Colonel Logan (DR #07)
Deathlok (SN #53)
Dr Mid-Nite (CD #22)
Destiny (XP #24)
Con Artist x2(XP one of them is #1 and #2)
Superman (CD #218)
Plastic Man (HT #100)
You've got some hitters, but there are a lot of pieces out there that can overpower what you're working with here. You're going to have problems with Stealth and good anti-stealth. You're not playing a theme, so you don't get any bonuses, so you'll probably have no control over map choice and no extra probs.
Can you explain what you're trying to get out of the team? Like what's your expectations for synergy and your turns? As I picture your team on a map, I'm just not seeing how it will play out.

Come play dollies at Brave New World in Newhall, CA. If you're not having fun, then you're doing it wrong.
My strategy was this:
Superman turns his stealth off and gets his attack perplexed up once and his damage thrice by wizard, con artist, other con artist, and plastic man. Darkseid runs up to the target of my next attack and outwits any damage modifiers. Superman gets tked forward and hypersonic's, picking up an object, the one that was the target of darkseid's outwit and hits it for 9 or 10 damage according to the object I pick up. That will either kill or put that figure on it's last click.

Rule of 3. Also, any opponent worth their salt will see that (no offense) very basic strategy from a million miles away.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
Neil Peart is the best drummer of all time. Period.
Year of the Spider-Man ---> follow along as I attempt to play Spidey (and friends) on every team for 365 days.
A little off topic but can a spider-man ally ta copy batman ally or batman enemy ta?
SPIDER-MAN
Characters possessing the Spider-Man team ability are wild cards.
WILD CARDS
Wild card team abilities allow a character to use any team ability possessed by any friendly character on the battlefield. A character that possesses a wild card team ability is called a “wild card.” Although wild cards can use team abilities, they do not possess the copied team ability nor do they possess the team symbol.
In short: yes, that's fine.

So the problem is that in an 800pt battle, an opponent can use some big hitters and take Superman off the map in one turn, and then you're basically screwed.
Playing one tentpole at that high point cost is going to make you vulnerable to Illuminati teams and several other "themes" that come with many more options. Also, Shape Change and Skrull TA can undermine your whole agenda. Heck, Protected will probably undermine it.
At 800 pts, you need more than one-two viable threats on the map.
All of this is my opinion, but hopefully it helps you out some.

I played 800 for quite a while when they weren't making new sets, if your Haves/Wants list is up to date and you list a basic strategy and playstyle I'd be more than happy to help.
