Here is what ive noticed. Characters that are new versions of a character that already has an REV in that set or in a previous one are from a specific time. Other Uniques are just stand alones if they do not have an REV BEFORE hand. Has any character that had a Unique BEFORE an REV ever had an REV come out afterwards? Not that I am aware of.

And yeah, everyone undersells apocalypse and oversells Doom. Its a pretty common occurance on these boards :P

You really wnat to know why Holocaust. If they made a Unique later on with his power level severly lowered. No one would want to play him. You wouldnt want him as much if you had the best version already. This way when they make another Xpansion, it guarantees you to go and buy more. Sneaky aren't they. Anyways this provides talk and thats always good. :D

Sorry Doom in Marvel is the most powerful and adapt person in Marvel. He could take care of Apocalypse in a short time if he grew and attack Castle DOOM. Only in X titles is Apocalypse all powerful. In all titles Doom is the best. Look at any title they all have said Doom is the best. Even in Xmen.

I disagree. I say magneto would make short work of Doom in no time. Magneto is not overconfident like Apocalypse is. He will get what needs to be done done, and quickly. Marvel refers to him as the most powerful man on earth. Last time i checked, doom was on earth.

Magneto could destroy Doom in half a second if he wanted.

Magneto is the most powerful Mutant on Earth. Like I said only in X titles do they say this. In all other titles Doom is the most powerful. Doom is unaffected by Magneto. He has made his armour unaffected by his power. Plus Doom dose have a Mutant Null Ray. As seen when Shadowcat was permantly phasing. Xmen comic where Magneto had to ask Doom for help to save Shadowcat. :D Shadowcat then owed Doom. Payment the Soul Sword, in Xcaliber. Which he got.

In the age of apocalypse, apoc did defeat Doom. In the "Tales from the AoA" comic a charecter is comenting about all of the old Super beings and what happened to them and says something to the effect of "after Doom put up his last great fight aginst apocalypse, everything was lost."

Iknow that AoA was just a side story but it is what would have happened if Xavier and the X-men and cable hadn't been around to "take over the world."

I do hope that Wizkids is beeing sneaky by making him a Unique so that they can turn him into a regular character later, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Now Manchine, I have you one upped on this one. They refer to him as the most powerful BEING on earth, not most powerful mutant. And it is NOT only in the X Books. Also, Magneto had met people with mutation nullifying weapons or auras before. The magnetic force field he has around him disrupts them so they do not affect him. This I am sure of. So even if Doom tried it, the effects end up being scrambled, or simply not even reaching him. Also, just because his suit is not metal does not mean he cannot simply throw everything near him that IS metal at him, or simply manipulate the magnetic fields so powerfully that gravity itself crushes Doom. Or if he wanted, simply remove all the iron in Dooms blood. If Magneto really wanted to go all out, he could take anyone on earth. He does have a conscience. The only people who can take him one on one are those not of this planet.

Ill vote in it, but keep in mind, votes also got us our most incompetant president in the history of this country :P ( even though TECHNICALLY they didnt even vote for Bush :P ) Also, I already know this site is HEAVILY slanted towards Doom in general. I dont put muchf aith in the vote myself.

Sorry but Doom already has adjusted for that. He always has ways around a person. The thing is he sends one of his drones out first and if that doesnt work. HE adjusts his devices and does it again. He always wins. Doom always has a way to Defeat everyone.

Becuase DOOM is the Best.

Like I said, Mags would destroy Doom hands down. The only way that Doom survives a straight-up battle to the death is if the writer pulls some improbable stuff.
