Need to unload a collection
So, due to some unforseen expenses, I might have to unload a fairly substantial 'clix collection, including an almost complete set of Hammer of Thor (Missing 2 SRs [Venus, Surtur], 3 LEs, and the chases).

Problem is, is a few weeks ago at my venue, someone stole the binder containing ALL of my Marvel character cards, which means selling the singles to Strike Zone is out of the question. However, how would someone go about unloading some of this stuff, especially quickly?

As much as I hate to admit it, sell it on ebay. Print the cards and sell on ebay (be sure to indicate that you don't have the original cards). Pure collectors want the cards, but players will still be interested. If you want more money, sell everything individually. If you want to unload it fast, sell as sets. I wouldn't sell as one giant lot, but smaller lots, such as lots of sets. It can be difficult to sell large lots simply because many people don't have the money to spend on a large lot, regardless of how good a deal it is.

Thanks, and sorry for misposting this thread in the wrong subforum, I'm a bit, well, distraught at the moment. (Not from selling Clix but from what is causing the need).

Yeah don't sell as a complete set especially without those cards. I've seen other sets similarly go way cheap. I'm talking $65 for a complete SI set without cards and only 1 chase. HoT is way more popular and sought after but don't risk it. People who buy sets will usually keep some and sell the majority getting theirs free. Selling figures without cards can be tricky. I do alot of selling on Ebay. Here's what I recommend.
Sell lots:
Example:HoT Thor lot #1
Volstagg,Hogan,Fandral,Loki(female),Surtur,Fire Demon
HoT Lot #2
Loki(male),Thor,Odin,Baldur,Sif
You get the idea, throw 2 good figures or 1 good figure in with a couple rares, lesser SR/LE,and a group of C/U.
Mention the cards are missing,it's important.
